Omg, I definitely have this horror, fear and traumatic experience with the round brush! I think I had some bangs in middle/high school, but not the highest (unless s I’m misremembering!)I have used the Dyson round brush and didn’t have a problem with tangles/getting stuck, though I was VERY CAREFUL. I did watch a Dyson tutorial (after doing it on my own without great results and some fizziness on the ends) that they recommend you go with low air when using the round brush, which makes sense. @itsfi @missjeanie

You've already gotten some tips and advice below but I thought I'd jump in too @FriendlyGal A few things that have helped me with this are also: 1) Washing with warm not hot water. Hot water feels great but it can make oily hair worse. 2) Only use conditioner on hair that is below your ears, everything above and close to the scalp is a no conditioner zone. 3) Rinse and rinse. Before shampooing be sure to spend extra time really soaking your hair. And the same goes with rinsing out your shampoo and conditioner, go extra with the rising to make sure that there no residue left behind. 4) When you shampoo, work up a good lather and make sure your really washing the back of your neck and behind your ears as well as the rest of your scalp. Gently massaging for at least a full minute or two before you go and do that thorough extra rinse.Once a week I double shampoo depending on how my hair feels. I hope this is helpful for you and your sister @FriendlyGal 💝

Hey @viotaliplip ! If your dandruff is caused by seborrheic dermatitis, then you can expect it to come and go; to my knowledge, there’s no permanent cure for that skin condition. You’ll need to control it using things like medicated shampoos. Sounds like a dermatologist has already recommended one to you. I agree with @SportyGirly125 that you should circle back with your derm (if you haven’t already) if that shampoo’s not working for you. But if your derm diagnosed you with dry scalp instead, that’s different from seborrheic dermatitis. Dry scalp is a lot like having dry skin anywhere else on your body: it needs more hydration and moisturization. I’m guessing this isn’t what you have since your derm suggested you use a specific shampoo.

I discovered olaplex 6 leave in and I loved it so I decided to try more of their products and bought a bottle of number 5 conditioner. It made my hair so soft it was unreal and so I continued to use. after about a 2 weeks of daily conditioning noticed my hair was thinking and turning fuzzy. The texture of my hair completely changed. My curls were not longer beautiful rings like before but tare now thin fuzz balls. I stopped using Olaplex 5 immediately and threw it in the trash. I no longer use the number 6 and hope that my hair will return to it normal self. This is not a good product. My niece experienced the same thing with number 5 only she lost her curls and now has frizz. Has anyone's hair recovered from this products damage? What helps?
