Gift card is empty

I was gifted a sephora gift card from my friend. It is supposed to have $ balance on it. When I check it online it says $0 balance.

My friend went in store and I went in store telling them about this issue but they tell us there is nothing they can do about it. I also contacted CS by phone but they were not helpful at all. I am contacting online hoping you can help. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and if I cannot get help for this matter I would advise others to avoid purchasing gift cards from Sephora as you will essentially be robbed

I am experiencing a similar issue. A gift card I received that I've never used is showing as 0 balance!

I have a Sephora  gift card issued by Penneys that doesnt work.

Hi @step3231,

The SiJCP gift cards are JCPenney gift cards with the Sephora logo on them. You should still be able to use it in JCPenney stores or on their website.
