From the swatches it looks a tad more purple than Jay but close enough so I guess I can skip it for now. Thank you for the swatches!

You're welcome! Maybe it's just me, but I do find the opacity to be vastly different

Oh boy. I very sincerely do not need more purples, especially since I have a few these and they're all so close, but it's hard to resist!

It most definitely is! Don't know if I'll keep it. I might try it on my actual lips first and see. I do love Barberry lots, but I'd gotten a backup :x

Thanks for posting! So Nori seems to be somewhere between the 001 and the 011 colors from the Limited Edition Lip Lab lipsticks from 2015. Have you noticed a significant difference on your lips, by chance, or are they just as close as on this swatch?

I got Chai today! I looove it. However, when I put it on I was convinced it reminded me of something I already owned, so I swatched some things... and yeah, I've got some almost-dupes. Not quite though! I don't have anything with this combo of color+finish.

Chai in the center.

L, top to bottom: Colourpop Chilly Chili, Colourpop Kapow, UD Protest

R, top to bottom: Burberry Kisses Russet, Lancome Color Design Sugared Maple, Too Faced La Creme Sweet Maple, UD Matte Carnal

Carnal is closest in color, but much more matte. Sweet Maple is cooler. Russet and Sugared Maple are close in color (especially Russet) but much more sheer (Sugared Maple is a heavy swatch here).

OUh ok. it doesn't look as brown here. I have TF and the UD one so il keep it on my list for a bit. I finally caved and ordered pepper and verbana. I couldn't decide on sake so il wait and see if i like the formula first. i originally was waiting to order the mug manny palette but that was a disaster so now the $ went to bite lol 🙂 If i get them tomorrow il post to my ig Sat

I got Chai today, and it leans more red on me. Not really what I was hoping for and I know I have similar colors in my collection. I'm disappointed.

I'm curious if Eggplant is comparable to TF Drake or Jay at all? 

Other than Eggplant, the only two on my list so far are Verbana and Sweet Cream or Gingersnap.

Taking one for the team. I ordered Eggplant and it should be here tomorrow. I have Drake, Jay and Theo that I can compare. However, I find Jay to be sheer, so I don't think that that will be a dupe.

Thank you! I'll be patiently waiting 😛 I'm always drawn towards these kinds of colors so just trying to be careful. Plus in this case,I think the name might be swaying me a little.

I find Temptalia really useful -- but how can Anna be both brighter and darker than Sake??? Oy.
