I get it @blackkitty2014 ! Won’t tell you how inexpensive it was back in my day! 😳🤣 This is quite disheartening tho because how high is up with all of these guys?! Sheesh. Obviously for so many other things too but still…!

I wouldn’t necessarily say I’m trying to enable, so much as I’m just relaying helpful information … you know, in case say, a friend of yours might be interested in something like the powders.

@itsfi The non LE nature of this makes me happy.  I don't feel the pressure  'omg... gotta get it now'.  I might yet blind buy... but I may also try to wait until I can get to a counter to see the shades in person.  Or a friend may wait for a counter.....

I love that it's not limited edition @missjeanie. I don't think I'd pick one up (I'm not as into cheek products as I am say ... lippies or foundation or skincare, errr, hypothetically speaking 😍 but these are beautiful, and I do enjoy Chanel Les Beiges collection a lot. I will live vicariously through all you lovelies who pick it up ... now or at another date!

@itsfi I'm slightly torn on which shade to pick up.  I rarely use bronzer and never highlighter but I'm feeling drawn to them so much I may use it as more of a travel palette for eyes and cheeks.

@missjeanie, oh I think this would make a great addition to the travel squad! 😃 Hopefully there’s a store near you that carries these so you can swatch IRL. I’ve seen a few swatches online and they are beautiful.

YOLO and a “low buy” aren’t necessarily mutually exclusive @missjeanie. I mean suuure the Chanel is arguably on the higher end of that low buy, but maybe that’s your one thing for May?? Or, you could hold off and wait and see what else comes out this month - it not limited edition. It’ll be around and will likely make its way to department stores soon-ish.

New releases at Harrods: Healthy Glow Powders, body oils, Les Beiges foundation and Sheer Powder shade range extensions, Hydra Beaute lip serum, and Chance soaps. Some products only available in the UK.

Below is information from a visit to my Canadian Chanel counter:

• 4 mascaras will be released in Canada. My SA suggested applying colour on the outer lashes as an accent.
• The Les Beiges Teint Belle Mine foundation release will expand the shade range to 42 shades. The new shades focus on olive and darker skintones.
• There will be 4 body oils released. In Canada, these will be at Holt Renfrew and Chanel boutiques but not at Shoppers Beauty Boutique.
• There is a Chance soap release and a Hydra Beauty lip serum release.
• The single eyeshadows are in the permanent range. I heard that two shades are LE but my SA didn't see any marked LE in her release info.

I was able to see all of the shadows and new Glow powders yesterday and they’re lovely @TraceyEB ! My SA provided these swatches and they’re very accurate. She also told me to think about the powders not so much as bronzer separately vs the powder idea which makes sense. Swirling together is very pretty!  The shadows are very buttery satiny and slightly different in tone from other singles. (Talpa for example as I have the older one and it’s a little darker and not as satiny as the new.) FYI if anybody wants to see them in outside sun. 🙂 Also noticed that NM has the powders on counter. 😊

@Sunnysmom, these swatches are spectacular! Thank your SA for providing them in natural light! I watched a video by Tania B Wells where she shows a look using the medium rose gold palette where she swirled all the shades together and then applied all over the face and it looked lovely on her. Swirling all the shades together is something I don't do, or think to do, so that's a novel way to look at these palettes. When I see the rose blush and the deeper highlighter, I'm reminded of Wayne Goss' Bright Poppy blush palette that has a bright poppy pink blush and a golden copper highlighter. Wayne suggested mixing the shades and anyone can wear it with a light hand and he was right!! I was also thinking about the Tom Ford Soleil Contouring palettes that had a similar stacking of bronzer, blush, and highlighter and was matte vs this luminous Les Beiges release. Did you pick up one of the bronzer compacts and/or single eyeshadows?

Will do @TraceyEB ! 🥰  I love this particular boutique because it’s almost all natural light too. Sometimes it’s even tricky to see shades properly because of it! Lol. That’s a great idea to do with WG’s! Think I did get that one as well. Hmm. Where is she. 😆 Yes the good news with the colors in the new Glow palettes is how they are so soft and not that intense so they really can be built up or done very subtly. Love that. I ended up with the Medium Rose Gold and Quartz Fumé single. I use Talpa a ton already so when I hit pan I will replace it with the new one for sure. It’s a perfect neutral everyday for me. I’m just not an adventuress for the other shades though they’re so fun! Also phew. Lol. ( I still love Deep Mauve and would love to get that to use for blush as it’s so good. Ugh. But the center shade is quite muddy for anyone as my SA pointed out as well. So for now money saved!! Wish it was a single! Maybe they’ll listen to us. ☺️ With the prices of everything so high these days it’s definitely time for me to be more cautious with my pennies!! ) What are you picking up?!

@Sunnysmom, you're lucky to have a Chanel boutique with beautiful natural light. I love your choices and your restraint! I hope you enjoy the medium rose palette and quartz fume! I'm going to a Chanel counter tomorrow to put in my pre-order and I hope to see the Les Beiges Glow palettes in person (though they don't officially launch in Canada until May 1). I'm thinking about 1-2 single eyeshadows and like the look of Brun Fauve and maybe the lime green eyeshadow. I also love the Talpa shade from the original release, so happy there's an updated replacement! I'd probably buy more of the Les Beiges Glow if the compacts were smaller and would have preferred a range of blush/highlighter duos because Chanel bronzer shades don't suit me well (the closest is the cream blush in shade 20). Will connect back after I've been to the counter! ☀️

@TraceyEB @Sunnysmom  My SA forgot to ring me up. Now I wonder should I give her a nudge or just pull out the TF Soleil one. 😂🤣 I have 3 of the TF Soleil. They all look spanking new as I check today. Hoard but don’t used seems liked. 😂🤣 Honestly the glow face palettes all look lovely. It’s really hard to chose

@blackkitty2014, you have 3 barely used TF Soleil Contour palettes?! I've been working on The Afternooner palette for years because those palettes have almost 21g of product (the Chanel XL palettes have 15g). On the other hand, the TF Soleil bronzer and blush is a matte formula vs. Chanel's glowy formula. The Chanel palettes look a little different on every skin tone, so I vacillate between palettes. Decisions, decisions! 😂

So I looked again @TraceyEB . This time with everything open up. I have 2 TF Soleil palette and 1 eye face palettes called Pink Glow and probably another one with the blue (forgot what it called and (not sure if you remember them😂). But the Afternooner reminds me of Medium Coral so Medium Coral should be out of my wish list 😘

@blackkitty2014 @Sunnysmom, I'm back from a visit to the Chanel counter. I pre-ordered the Medium Rose Gold and the Deep Mauve palettes. When I swatched the blush in the Deep Mauve palette, I gasped at how pigmented it was - a stunning raspberry shade. Below is a picture of me wearing the raspberry shade high on the cheekbone over Rose Polaire blush. Forgive me that I applied and blended it with my hands. My SA said the middle shade could be worn as an eyeshadow. She also agreed that TF's The Afternooner palette would be duplicated by the Medium Coral palette. I only wish the compacts were small like the testers - I would have purchased three!

Oh how fun @TraceyEB , yay! Sounds like you had a fun experience! It looks beautiful and uplifting on you! That is a terrific idea to use the center as a shadow!! Uh oh. I would really to have Deep Mauve bec I just loved the raspberry shade too! Sooo pigmented and satiny! Def a decision to think about! So don’t give me too much credit yet! 🥺😆  I wish they were smaller too. I think these could be permanent items or maybe revamp them a bit/ smaller compact size.

Aren’t the shadows fun?! So buttery! I would kind of like to have the dark Noir grey black for fun. 🙃 The mascaras are pretty wild. Not for me but cool. Did your SA also mention details on the new lips in 31 Le Rouge coming next month? Mine threw out that bone as I was leaving!! 🤣😭 New shades in a more matte formula I guess! Always something…!! Enjoy your new goodies when they arrive! 🥰
