Sleep twins! @Mellmars1185 I love your notepad next to bed. I journal but it never occurred to me that I can scribble in the middle of the night ๐

I hear you. Reading has a different effect on me before bed. For myself, my eyes get heavy and I either have to go back a few pages the next time because I was too sleepy to retain any info or i lose my page when I fall asleep ๐
I would love books to have those effects on me @Mellmars1185 ..... even if I was reading a dictionary, I would be like "oooh, interesting! That's what that word means?!" ๐
Week 7 (2/21 โ 2/27): Improving your quality of sleep ๐ค
ive been working on this since early last year Iโm such a night owl๐
๐ i started taking magnesium last year and that was a step for meโค๏ธ I now do no screen/tv for about an hour before I go to sleep๐ด I also find diffusing lavender oil in the room before itโs time to go to sleep helps my relax a lot I personally love the Young Living one I also have their diffuser๐ generally also doing some stretching and calming myself down sometimes reading a book just to relax to get the best nights sleep๐๐ดโจ๐๐ค

Great tips @happyskincare ! What do you do during the hour of no screen time? I love reading but I always end up reading murder mysteries or true crime and I get hooked ๐
I usually read๐ Iโm such a book worm๐ sometimes Iโll do a massage๐ฉท
Recently I started using detox feet pads on my feet while I sleep.
I have noticed I sleep more soundly, I wake refreshed and my freshness lasts all day.
Week 7 - Improving your quality of sleep
I try to end screen use a half hour prior to going to bed
I have limited my caffeine this year and it is helping.
Those are both great tips. Limiting caffeine really does help I find too. @CorgiMommy
Try a few ounces at tart cherry juice ..) all natural and no sugar added) 30 minutes before bed time!
@KiaLovesMakeup I have been doing this for years. It is an acquired taste , not only is it good for sleep it has natural anti-inflammatory properties.
Week 6 (2/14-2 /20): Cleaning up your beauty collections

Wow these challenges help! As someone who has a hard time cleaning out I decided it was finally time to get rid of all the drugstore makeup/stuff I got just because of the price and after one use I knew I would never use again๐ Generally some of these products arenโt bad itโs just the color looks so off on me๐ ๐ i recently gave all my skincare that I needed to declutter to a friend so I donโt have anymore at the moment that needs to be declutterโค๏ธ

@TeamBIC what do I do to improve my quality of sleep?
i do stretches at night and deep breathing.
i take magnesium, drink herbal tea and right before bed I like going in the sauna. It releases endorphines and I get very sleepy as my body temperature lowers. If I cool down and Iโm not in bed yet, Iโve lost my window of opportunity so I have to be purposeful about it.
i also have to keep the bedroom cool. I sleep better when Iโm bundled up and the air Iโm breathing is chilly.
@heartsmyface I love going into the sauna. Wish I could afford one
