Happy New Year, BIC! ✨ We’re stepping into 2025 with a crucial reminder: we must take special care of ourselves — this year and EVERY year. Some of us may already have set resolutions and/or stellar routines nailed down; regardless of where you are on your self-care journey, we could all use a few extra nudges and motivation to spend some extra time on ourselves! 🤝

Much like posts from previous years, we’ve come up with a list of weekly prompts to challenge you to strut your self-care skills. 💗 This time around we’ll be focused on all things skincare, because when our skin feels good, we feel GEWD. 🌟 We encourage you to participate and respond to the prompts that inspire you – and don’t be shy to share any other self-care tips and tricks along the way!

Week 1 (1/8 – 1/14): Curating the perfect rise and glow ☀ skincare routine to kick off your day 

Week 2 (1/15 – 1/21): Relaxing in your favorite face/eye mask(s)

Week 3 (1/22 – 1/28): Trying out tools to promote wellness (rollers, high tech tools, DIY massage . . .)

Week 4 (1/29 – 2/4): Adding some extra indulgence to your body care (baths, butters, oils, scrubs etc.) 🛀

Week 5 (2/5 – 2/11): Washing your makeup brushes, towels, pillowcases, etc. — whatever touches your GORG face 😘

Week 6 (2/12 – 2/18): Stimulating your scalp with treatments/serums (yes, this is skincare too!)

Week 7 (2/19 – 2/25): Sharing your favorite jumbo or refillable skincare goodies to get the best bang for your buck 🤑

Week 8 (2/26 – 3/4): Giving your hands and feet some extra love (masks, creams, exfoliants, etc.)

I tried some minis of Tatcha's Forest line, the scent is nothing like I expected. But the earthy woody notes made me feel like I was deep in the woods 🌲🍀

Thank you! I love how they made the Tatcha into a set because it made me utilize all three steps more mindfully, I love the scent! It energizes me! It’s interesting because I’ve noticed i use more scented items during the day, and will use the biossance cream unscented at night I think scent energizes me so much! Did you have a favorite out of the set? I feel like I’m at a tie with the lotion and body wash 🙂 @CynthieLu 💚

These are some first rate body care products @peculiarzmakeup! The Tatcha hinoki set is a great way to introduce yourself to their body care line; I was a little nervous at first about the scent but it's so good - soothing and uplifting! Love the Biossance goodies too - that body cream is so rich and creamy, but without being heavy. And peach scents!!! The RB items semll wonderful! I heard peach scents are going to be trending this year and I am all for that! 😍

I am so with you! It’s always a Leap of faith with trying a new set I love the notes in this set, luckily I had a sample of the lotion and ran with it haha I think samples are always the best especially if you can take home and trial a few times before selecting! Yes I absolutley love the biossance scrub (which by the way I have pronounced wrong up until now) haha 🤣 and yay for trending I think RB deserves it I feel like there was such a beautiful thought behind the peach scent and they really go all out, I’m with you there completely! @itsfi  ❤️ I hope they make minis one day for travel that would be neat 🙂

Thank you very much @itsfi! I really like the Winking snow globe 😃.  That is a hat pin holder.  I love looking through antique shops.  I found this during one of my trips, along with the hat pins that it holds! 
I like to imagine wearing a big beautiful hat with a broad brim.  I would put one of those hat pins in to keep it secure in my hair.  I think of the Gibson Girl look😃
