@nuinui933  Can’t go wrong with great results like brighter skin!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

That packaging is so pretty @nuinui933

🐚🐠 very cute!

Did it smell nice? From the package I picture it smelling like the sea breeze or a coconut sandy beach ⛱️

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

I wish I could tell you how it smelled. I'm getting over a cold and can't smell anything. Boo.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Oooh no! Feel better soon @nuinui933

Wash Off Mask

I've tried and been pleased with a few products from the Pixi Rose skincare range so when my eyes spied this mask from that range (and saw that it was on sale), I couldn’t pass it up.

The jelly consistency of the Pixi Rose Remedy Mask Nourishing Toning Jelly is bouncy, applies and spreads easily and quickly (thanks in part to the mini spatula that is attached to the side of the tub), absorbs smoothly, and feels cooling on the skin. There’s a very soft and noticeable rose scent that is pleasant, not artificial. There’s a slight tack to the product but it’s a wash off mask and that disappears completely once I washed off the mask after the recommended 10 minutes wear time

The mask washes off easily and fully, leaving no tack, stickiness or filmy residue; just soft, smooth, lightly nourished skin, with a bit of a bounce. Additionally, the redness around my nose and on my cheeks looked to be soothed and less red, both pluses. This has been a lovely mask to use in the cooler season, calming and nourishing the skin beautifully. It looks to be one that would also be great in the warmer months as the consistency is not heavy or overwhelming.

A little of this goes a long way and there’s a lot of product in this tub so I don’t foresee a need to repurchase for a good long while but it is one that is worthy of repurchaseπŸ‘πŸΌ

Nail Care

Winter seems to have disguised itself as fall. My hands have been dry, I mean D-R-Y! A lot of that is my own fault and not being as diligent with my hand care as I should be. This isn’t technically a mask, but I’ve found that consistent use of a cuticle oil is important for the health of my nails as well as their growth and keeping them nourished.
With that in mind, I picked up the tenoverten The Rose Oil Nourishing Cuticle Oil, an easy to use, conveniently portable cuticle oil in pen form with a light, pleasant, rose scent that, with Vitamin E and its plethora of oils (rose flower, jojoba, argan, sweet almond, hemp seed and pomegranate) hydrates, moisturizes, and nourishes my cuticles and hands. I will be keeping this handy dandy cuticle oil pen in my handbag in a plastic bag to prevent leakage (I have experienced that but you cannot be too careful) next to my hand sanitizer, with the hope that I’ll reach for it after each use of hand sanitizer.

I had the VOLUSPA Mini Frosted Holly Berry Glass Jar Candle 5.5 oz / 156 g burning in the background while I was masking; it's a beautiful holiday scent, different from the traditional holiday fragrances, and in keeping with the theme, has a lovely hint of soft, fresh rose to it. πŸŒΉ

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Love a good rose mask.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@missy94612, lots of bang for your buck with this one.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Ohhhh everything sounds so lovely!! @itsfi the candle description is incredible

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@lmaster, the notes on the candles are all very subtle but the work well together and blend to make a really beautiful holiday scent. I was surprised there was a rose scent to it; it’s on the softer side but I do pick it up briefly.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  This Pixi mask sounds lovely! Helping with redness that’s a huge plus!! The cuticle oil sounds perfect. I love that it’s so portable. You could have it anywhere. Is it greasy or does it absorb fast? Hmmm so the frosted holly berry smells like roses? That’s not what I expected at all! Great masking session!

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Whoops, sorry @ather, I'm just now getting to this.

Here's what the tip of the tenoverten rose oil looks like - it works pretty well at distributing the oil, which is on the thicker (but not thick side). It's not super fast absorbing but it does so more quickly than I expected for a thicker oil. Greasiness is low-medium. It's a nice one, not my favorite, but good for travel.

Oh, the Voluspa Frosted Berry candle doesn't have a full blown rose scent. Whenever I'm burning the candle, I pick up the rose as a middle note; it's wavers between very faint and "I pick up a soft rose scent". But occasionally, after I've blown out the candle and it's had some time to cool, if I walk back into the house, the rose scent is a tad more noticeable.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  Ooo I like the roll on application of that oil. Seems pretty nifty!! Still an interesting choice for a candle called frosted berry.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Right @ather? It has a berry scent to it but that too is one the light side. Fortunately all the notes blend well together.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

I relate to having unusual hand dryness this fall @itsfi  (The picture you took of your two hydration heroes is stunning btw)

I like the style of bottle for your nail oil, it's very appealing 😍 also excellent to hear both products are working good for you.

Seeing improvement of redness of the face is sooo rewarding πŸ™Œ  Yeahy!

These both sound like winners

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

'tis the season for dry hands @CynthieLu! Gotta make sure to keep them moisturized. One more thing to add to the "to do" list. πŸ˜€

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

I have some of the Tenoverten nail polishes but haven't tried their other products - they can be expensive. This one sounds good. I'll have to look for a sale. The Pixi sounds good for dry skin.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@nuinui933, it's the time of year for sales. I wouldn't be surprised if the brand has a sale for the holidays. Also, Target carries the brand and occasionally has sales for its nail care products as well as its beauty products.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  Oh that mask sounds excellent!!!  And a good cuticle oil is always good to have.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@Cissy63, both the mask and the cuticle oil have proven to be what my skin has needed. πŸ’ž I have to be extra mindful about keeping my skin hydrated and moisturized this time of the year.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

@itsfi  We were at Target for my husband to get a vaccine so I looked at theirs Pixi products. They had the Rose mask.  And based on your comments, I bought it.  The idea of help will redness sounds good.  Plus its a very substantial amount for product.  It will defeat last a while.

Re: πŸ’•πŸ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge πŸ˜ŒπŸ’–

Yaaaay @Cissy63! πŸ˜ƒ I’ll be interested in knowing what you think of it. I’m all for masks that diminish redness. There’s sooooo much product in the tub. Your husband could even mask with it if he wanted to!
