Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masksπ
@nuinui933 Canβt go wrong with great results like brighter skin!
That packaging is so pretty @nuinui933
ππ very cute!
Did it smell nice? From the package I picture it smelling like the sea breeze or a coconut sandy beach β±οΈ
I wish I could tell you how it smelled. I'm getting over a cold and can't smell anything. Boo.
Oooh no! Feel better soon @nuinui933
Everything's coming up roses! πΉ
Wash Off Mask:
The jelly consistency of the Pixi Rose Remedy Mask Nourishing Toning Jelly is bouncy, applies and spreads easily and quickly (thanks in part to the mini spatula that is attached to the side of the tub), absorbs smoothly, and feels cooling on the skin. Thereβs a very soft and noticeable rose scent that is pleasant, not artificial. Thereβs a slight tack to the product but itβs a wash off mask and that disappears completely once I washed off the mask after the recommended 10 minutes wear time.
The mask washes off easily and fully, leaving no tack, stickiness or filmy residue; just soft, smooth, lightly nourished skin, with a bit of a bounce. Additionally, the redness around my nose and on my cheeks looked to be soothed and less red, both pluses. This has been a lovely mask to use in the cooler season, calming and nourishing the skin beautifully. It looks to be one that would also be great in the warmer months as the consistency is not heavy or overwhelming.
A little of this goes a long way and thereβs a lot of product in this tub so I donβt foresee a need to repurchase for a good long while but it is one that is worthy of repurchase! ππΌ
Nail Care:
I had the VOLUSPA Mini Frosted Holly Berry Glass Jar Candle 5.5 oz / 156 g burning in the background while I was masking; it's a beautiful holiday scent, different from the traditional holiday fragrances, and in keeping with the theme, has a lovely hint of soft, fresh rose to it. πΉ
Love a good rose mask.
@missy94612, lots of bang for your buck with this one.
Ohhhh everything sounds so lovely!! @itsfi the candle description is incredible
@lmaster, the notes on the candles are all very subtle but the work well together and blend to make a really beautiful holiday scent. I was surprised there was a rose scent to it; itβs on the softer side but I do pick it up briefly.
@itsfi This Pixi mask sounds lovely! Helping with redness thatβs a huge plus!! The cuticle oil sounds perfect. I love that itβs so portable. You could have it anywhere. Is it greasy or does it absorb fast? Hmmm so the frosted holly berry smells like roses? Thatβs not what I expected at all! Great masking session!
Whoops, sorry @ather, I'm just now getting to this.
Here's what the tip of the tenoverten rose oil looks like - it works pretty well at distributing the oil, which is on the thicker (but not thick side). It's not super fast absorbing but it does so more quickly than I expected for a thicker oil. Greasiness is low-medium. It's a nice one, not my favorite, but good for travel.
Oh, the Voluspa Frosted Berry candle doesn't have a full blown rose scent. Whenever I'm burning the candle, I pick up the rose as a middle note; it's wavers between very faint and "I pick up a soft rose scent". But occasionally, after I've blown out the candle and it's had some time to cool, if I walk back into the house, the rose scent is a tad more noticeable.
@itsfi Ooo I like the roll on application of that oil. Seems pretty nifty!! Still an interesting choice for a candle called frosted berry.
Right @ather? It has a berry scent to it but that too is one the light side. Fortunately all the notes blend well together.
I relate to having unusual hand dryness this fall @itsfi (The picture you took of your two hydration heroes is stunning btw)
I like the style of bottle for your nail oil, it's very appealing π also excellent to hear both products are working good for you.
Seeing improvement of redness of the face is sooo rewarding π Yeahy!
These both sound like winners
'tis the season for dry hands @CynthieLu! Gotta make sure to keep them moisturized. One more thing to add to the "to do" list. π
I have some of the Tenoverten nail polishes but haven't tried their other products - they can be expensive. This one sounds good. I'll have to look for a sale. The Pixi sounds good for dry skin.
@nuinui933, it's the time of year for sales. I wouldn't be surprised if the brand has a sale for the holidays. Also, Target carries the brand and occasionally has sales for its nail care products as well as its beauty products.
@itsfi Oh that mask sounds excellent!!! And a good cuticle oil is always good to have.
@Cissy63, both the mask and the cuticle oil have proven to be what my skin has needed. π I have to be extra mindful about keeping my skin hydrated and moisturized this time of the year.
@itsfi We were at Target for my husband to get a vaccine so I looked at theirs Pixi products. They had the Rose mask. And based on your comments, I bought it. The idea of help will redness sounds good. Plus its a very substantial amount for product. It will defeat last a while.
Yaaaay @Cissy63! π Iβll be interested in knowing what you think of it. Iβm all for masks that diminish redness. Thereβs sooooo much product in the tub. Your husband could even mask with it if he wanted to!
