Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masksπ
@heartsmyface haha thank you. It was already cold brr
On my way home today, I noticed thereβs an Itβs Skin shop in Flushing! I donβt know how I missed it all these years...but now I need recommendations for sheet masks from them and know you beauties can help me! I have combo oily skin and tend to prefer cleaner ingredients. π
The main thing is that you've know about the storefront now @lnum! π
Hmmm . . . not sure how much help this will be because our skin types are different, though I do get more oily in the summer. Sheet masks from It's Skin that I enjoy are primarily within the brand's Prestige line - one is the ginseng sheet mask (red packet) - note that it does contain snail mucin; another from that line is the black rose mask, but that is heavily fragranced so if you're sensitive to scents you might want to pass on that one. There's also a two step or two part mask pack - snail centered - includes under eye gel patches and a sheet mask.
@itsfi Yes! The red ginseng one absolutely caught my eye. Iβll pick it up if I see it. I also think thereβs an Etude House nearby there that I discovered yesterday and I donβt think Iβve tried anything from them. I clearly need to look up when Iβm taking the bus instead of being glued to my phone. π
Hahaha @lnum! I can understand being glued to the phone! π Ooooh, an Etude House storefront?!!! How fun!!
@itsfi Thank you!!! I took screenshots lol! I went to its skin today and strangely they closed at 5:30pm on a Saturday so I was 20 minutes too late. Iβll have to try visiting both again next week.
@lnum, there are 5 different essence types within the 0.2mm Air Therapy sheet mask collection. I don't have all of the 'flavors' but of the ones I have, I do have at least one of each of the essence types.
Here's how to tell what type of essence is contained in the sheet mask:
ampoule essence
cream oil
emulsion
jelly oil
watery
Have fun shopping next week! π
@lnum If they have them, they make the best makeup remover wipes! All oily and wonderful...sigh.
MΓ©diheal youβve done it again:). N is for Nattogum. Nattogum is (fermented soybeans boiled in natto ) high in vitamin K2 which has been shown to prevent fine lines and Gamma Polyglutamic Acid (PGA) which finishes wrinkles, facilitates skin turnover and is skin smoothing. This Tencel sheet mask is soaked in sticky milky serum which smells strongly of roses (wasnβt expecting that) The mask fits well but I added a few snips around the eye-nose area to make it perfect. The sticky serum really makes it stay well. My skin was extremely tacky (okay sticky) afterward for about fifteen minutes. Then it was plump moisturized and had a firm bounce to it . I am very pleased. off to go see if this is still available.

@heartsmyface Oh, this one gave some great results! Happy to hear you enjoyed it! π
@heartsmyface I had to look up natty to see if it was short for annatto, but nope - something new! This one sounds beautiful β€οΈ
@heartsmyface nice!! The packaging is visually appealing and looks like it fits wonderfully!! Results too... ππ
This one sounds really nice, @heartsmyface! You're right, so many Mediheals really hit the spot. I picked up the pro-jelly from the Meience line a little bit ago and can't wait to try it.
I need this mask @heartsmyface! Making a note now. This one sounds fabulous! π There are very few Mediheal sheet masks that have been fails for me. I have a natto sheet mask set aside for later this week; hoping it will give similar results. π€
@itsfi yeah you do! Iβll put my seal of approval on it;).
ouhhh, I hope so! i canβt wait to hear if yours is equally as sticky! It delivered and settled down on its own so I really donβt mind.
Exactly @heartsmyface! ππΌ I actually made a note off to the side that says βhearts approvedβ. β₯οΈ Good to know stickiness should be expected - that does make sense with natto being a key ingredient. Iβll be sure to use the natto one in the evening, when I have more time to wait for the sticky to settle down.
Well dang if this doesn't sound delightful @heartsmyface ! Glad you found a winner!
@missjeanie It was! I was half expecting it to smell gross based off the photo but it wasnβt at all.
@heartsmyface That looks like a great one! I had not heard of nattogum before. The results sound really nice, and I love a mask that stays put.
@PrettyPaint I didnt think weβd had it either cause I thought I would remember something looking like that photo, but according to D, we have it all the time in our miso soup and with kimchi. π€·ββοΈ
