This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

January	Fresh Starts - Time for a re-set, or morning masking? However you see it, this month is all about new beginnings.
February	Winter Love - Whether it's a mask you adore, or something extra-special to care for dry winter skin, this month is for some soothing TLC.
March	March Madness - Competition is in the air! Find a $ dupe of a $$$ mask that is share-worthy? Or find a dupe that works even better than the original? Details, please!
April	Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights.
May	Dew Drops - May Day lore says to wash your face in the dew you collect in the morning of the first day of May for radiant skin. This month is for absorbing all of that good-for-you H2O.
June	Summer Sunshine - Ice cream, sunglasses, SPF, check! Once the sun is down (or before it's up), extra care is most necessary. How do you give your skin cooling repair?

This got me thinking, @missy94612 - do you buy every mask in sets of two? It always brings a smile to my face when reading the comparison/contrast the two of you make together. That is sweet that he respects your advice on all things skincare, too!

On the topic of lotion…I I have heard of hair conditioner referred to as hair lotion too, which…I guess that isn’t wrong, either 😂

Thanks. I think we know what is in each person's wheelhouse and what is not. I trust him when he tells me about things like the car, why we need to update whatever electronic gadget we're updating, and he humors me when it comes to masks and skincare, though he's had some great thoughts about it too. Mask buying habits in our house usually fall into 2 buckets - I buy 1 and if I like it, I will pick up more when I run out; or, I will usually buy 1 or 2 boxes of 5 or 10 masks that I find at TJ Maxx or online and we'll go through those. Lately we haven't had to buy masks ourselves. A couple of maskers here have been thoughtful to send us some out of the blue and my SIL's brother-in-law's sister (I think that's my SIL's SIL??) travels to Asia quite a bit and she always brings back a ton of masks for my SIL and she shares ones that she gets multiples or packs of.

Mask shopping in Asia is fun, but dangerous. If your SIL's SIL finds AM Piggyhead masks, tell her to grab 'em all. Haha!

It also sounds like you have a great extended family, how thoughtful of her (your SIL’s SIL?) to be so generous and for that to spill over to you.

Thank you for those nice words. I lucked out. He's game for most things but I was surprised over his agreeing to mask consistently and by how much he's taken to it. omg, my SIL's SIL is crazy, in a good way. I have no idea how she gets through customs with all those sheet masks - my SIL tells me that she's toned it down which just makes me wonder how much she previously brought back. LOL.

I like milk based sheet masks for both the softening and moisturizing properties. 🤍 I had a good chuckle at your husband’s “Even I couldn’t stop touching my face” comment. 😆 He seems to be really on board with masking; that’s awesome you do this together.

Since "Hydrating Heroes" is the theme for the week I chose the Collagen Supreme Mask for Intense Hydration. .My skin has actually been feeling extra-dry for the last few days so this was perfect timing to take a hot end-of-the-day shower, throw a leave-in mask into my hair, and try to give my face a little moisture boost before bed.  The mask packet was LOADED with serum and the mask fabric was completely saturated with liquid.  It fit my face surprisingly well and this is my favorite type of mask--the kind that doesn't slide right off but instead adheres nicely, therefore making it possible to actually multi-task and get things done simultaneously while wearing it.  Despite this bonus feature I crashed in bed with my phone instead for the next 20 minutes and decided to be entirely unproductive 😂. 

20 minutes later I went ahead and removed the mask and indeed my skin DID feel a little more "plumped up", so mission accomplished! Normally the effects of sheet masks don't seem to last very long but it was a nice treat to end my day and it absolutely provided some much-needed skin soothing benefits.

Well this sounds like a winner for your thirsty skin, @CookieGirl1! What a nice little reprieve it sounds like, that you were able to kick back and relax while wearing it, too.
