Thank you @Aaliaa for starting this thread, and giving us a place to share our love for masks๐Ÿ’—

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Kim888  Oooh, such a great combo! Can't go wrong with honey! I haven't tried the new Honey Potion, but I the original is definitely a top favorite!  ๐Ÿฏ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Beautiful combo @Kim888! ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฏ. Nice to hear you like the reformulation. I agree that the original is better, but itโ€™s nice that this new version does a good job of hydrating your skin.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@Kim888 Okay, that Farmacy mask looks so incredible and perfect for cooler weather. *Adds to cart.*

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

It was double masking last night, with a couple of masks that I've used before but haven't posted about here until now. It's been a good pairing in general and a convenient one to have when I head out of town. From a timing perspective, I think this combination works better during the fall/winter months.
10.17.2022 missha + innisfree.jpg
I started off the masking sesh with prepping my skin with a facial steamer before going in with the innisfree mask applied to my nose (darn blackheads!) and as a spot treatment on my chin (grrr! hormonal acne!). I left the clay mask on for 5 minutes and then, without removing the innisfree mask, applied the sheet mask, leaving that on for a little over 15 minutes. I usually go for half an hour with a sheet mask but when my skin has been on a back-and-forth between oily, breaking out and dehydrated and dry, patchy flakes and dehydrated, I try not to go over the suggested wear time.

Wash Off:
Spoiler
This wash off mask is pretty much the innisfree Pore Clearing Clay Mask 3.38 oz/ 100 mL but in a travel size, tube form (and has already been placed in my travel toiletry bag for the next trip out of town) and with a slightly different name. It's a smooth, creamy, pale charcoal grey, kaolin clay mask that clears pores and absorbs oil without causing the skin to feel dried up or tight. For a spot treatment, I like that it's gentle on my skin and effective and decongesting it of impurities. Results are not as immediate as I would otherwise see with something like a GLAMGLOW Mini SUPERMUD๏ฟฝ Charcoal Instant Treatment Mask, but I also don't have to worry about the innisfree mask drying out my skin and then in turn causing it to produce more oils. The GlamGlow is something I keep on hand for specific moments when I need something ultra strength to zap a zit. This innisfree pore clearing clay mask, though, is what I tend to reach for these days and I plan to keep reaching for it (and my Peace Out Salicylic Acid Acne Healing Dots 40 Healing Dots) every other day until this pimple on my chin goes bye-bye! ๐Ÿ‘‹
Sheet Mask
Spoiler
Thick (5-ply) sheet mask drenched in what seems to be a slightly watered down version of the (fabulous) ampoule on which this mask is based. Fit was typical of most sheet masks and as required some incisions at the corners of the eyes and mouth and along the chin/jawline for a more tailored fit. Adherence was pretty good for a thicker leaning mask. It has an immediate cooling feel against the skin and stays in place the entire time, but I felt like I would have gotten more from the slightly weighted feel if I had decided to just sit still or lie down and relax instead of multi-tasking. There's a lot of serum remaining on my skin after removing the mask (and even more in the packet which I used the next day); I probably could have had it on for at least another 15 minutes. My skin feels hydrated and nourished, and once all the serum has been absorbed, my complexion looks bright and dewy and there's a soft and smooth feel to my skin with a light bounciness to the touch. I really like the actual ampoule on which this mask is based, but the packaging of that ampoule, though beautiful, makes it a challenge to travel with and this sheet fits that slot beautifully - I have enough for a good masking session and extra serum for a couple of uses afterwards. My preference is for thinner sheet masks but I can see how the thicker feel of this would be beneficial for use at home or while traveling - it is conducive to giving yourself a time-out and just relaxing while having it on. It's one I would recommend for those with dehydrated, dry or very dry skin or for most skin types in the cooler seasons, but folks with normal, combination, oily or very oily skin types may want to wring out some serum from the sheet before applying it to the face.
SUMMARY OF INNISFREE CLAY MASKS
10.5.2022 innisfree clay masks.jpg
Spoiler
Overall I enjoyed using these three clay masks and appreciate the different varieties. Mini or sample sizes like this are a great way to put a product to the test and to see how it performs over time, and not just with one, single, isolated use. Thank you to the fabulous @Aaliaa for this great (and useful) theme.

For me, the original version of these innisfree pore clearing color clay masks is still the best. The other two versions, the hydrating (blue) and brightening (yellow) ones, are fine, with the latter showing more promise with continued and consistent use, though I think the same or better results could be had with other similar multi-functioning masks. As an example, I think the Origins Honey Charcoal performs better than the innisfree hydrating clay mask (blue tube). That said, I would still be interested in trying out the other varieties from the collection - pink color clay (vitality), purple color clay (calming), and especially the green color clay (cica). I probably wouldn't repurchase these other than the original purifying formula, of which I already have a full size backup, but they will make great additions to my travel bag.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi I never even knew about the different innisfree masks, you don't think the hydrating version is what it claims?

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  I love the innisfree mask also!! I actually like using the travel size so I donโ€™t feel rushed to use it up before it goes bad!! That sheet mask sounded amazing also! I donโ€™t know if Iโ€™ve ever tried a 5 ply mask before!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Me too @ather. I wish the full size original clay mask was in tube form. Iโ€™ve notice they have one that says itโ€™s a mousse clay mask. A part of me is curious to give it a try โ€ฆ ๐Ÿค”

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  Oooo interesting Iโ€™ll have to look into it!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@ather, makes me wonder if maybe I should put it in my cart now for the sale? ๐Ÿค” The cart that Iโ€™m trying to whittle down. ๐Ÿคฃ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  I would but I have a new unopened bottle of the Volanic mask which I done see come up when I type it in. Could it be replacing it?

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@ather, that would make sense but I see both available online. Iโ€™ve only seen the one in the jar in store. Iโ€™ve seen the mousse mask at a local Asian beauty store but not in Sephora. Interesting.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi   What a terrific combo you have used.  ๐Ÿฅฐ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Thank you @Cissy63! While I like a more potent clay mask from time to time, the gentler ones are so much kinder to my skin barrier. These Innisfree clay masks are a good balance of gentle and effective. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi  Love this combo! My notes on the sheet mask seem to have gone missing, but I remember really liking that one too! You've also reminded me that I have the Mugwort one I need to try soon!

I had no idea all those Innisfree masks existed, so it's good to know your opinions on them! I've only tried the original, but really enjoy it ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

I thoughtt you might have tried this one before @Shosh85; Missha has made a fan of me. I've heard so many good things about their mugwort collection. We'll be mugort mask cousins - I have a mugwort sheet mask in the queue (it's been in the queue for a while, other things keep cutting in front of it), from a different brand. Will be fun to compare notes.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@itsfi @The sheet mask seems really nice! I like when you have the option to buy a good serum on its own or in mask form!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

It was great @Kim888! Iโ€™ve been impressed with the Missha sheet masks that Iโ€™ve used recently - this one and the one from their vitamin C range. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ The ampoules on which they are based have received good reviews. Not surprising; it is Missha. They have a new updated version of this ampoule that Iโ€™ll be keen to try at some point.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

Oh I love sample dives!!!  I tried for a basic  skincare routine just because I need an excuse to use samples before they get out of control.

The Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask is a 20 minute jelly enzyme mask.  Itโ€™s got a light citrusy floral fragrance which isnโ€™t noticeable after a minute or so.  I felt a sight tingling in the first two minutes  but just barely so itโ€™s considerably gentle.  It tightened up on my face as it dried down.

After rinsing my face is ridiculously soft smooth and exfoliated.  I donโ€™t need another exfoliator right now but Iโ€™m considering it.  No I shouldnโ€™t.  Maybe in November ๐Ÿ˜…. If Iโ€™m still thinking about it in November itโ€™ll be mine.  The little deals I make with myself.

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@heartsmyface gentle?? Sounds perfect!

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@heartsmyface   The TH resurfacing mask is terrific.  I broke down awhile ago and bought it from their website.  But I waited for a 20% off sale.  ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

Re: ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Œ Mask of the Week Challenge ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ’–

@heartsmyface  Oh, now I want to try my TH sample! It sounds wonderful!

Haha! I make little deals like that with myself too! ๐Ÿ˜‚
