This year is going to be a little different - simplified. Easy. Every month will have a new theme, and that's it. Feel free to join in whenever and wherever. Most importantly - have fun!

Spring Fling - Baskets and bouquets, showers of much-anticipated rain...this month's focus is herbal and floral sensory delights 💮

@itsfi  I enjoy bamboo sheet masks too.  They hold really good.  This sounds like a very good mask with all those good ingredients.  Question, any charcoal of some kind in it?  I have not used a charcoal mask yet that’s why I am asking.

@Cissy63, yes, I also love how bamboo masks adhere to the skin. ♥️ This mask has a nice set of ingredients, which is always a plus. 👍🏼 This one does contain charcoal powder (10 ppm).

I don’t use sheet masks with charcoal in them very often but when I do, my skin has responded well to them. This and the Leaders Detox and Chill are two I like; they seem to work best for my skin when it leans more on the oily side which makes sense since purifying / detoxing is one of the properties of charcoal. 

My favorite charcoal mask isn’t a sheet mask, it’s the Origins Clear Improvement™ Charcoal Honey Mask to Purify and Nourish 2.5 oz/ 75 mL.

@lmaster, bamboo charcoal masks are one of the thicker leaning masks that I enjoy a lot. 🖤

I’m not on theme but just trying to recover from camping and a week of abysmal skincare.  An exfoliating mask was in order.  I love the LeahLani Honey Love microdermabrasion exfoliator.  It’s tar-like and sticky coming out of the jar.  I mix it with some water and apply a thin layer using gentle circular motions to my face and let it sit for 5 minutes and rinse.  I love the fresh and tart pomegranate scent and how smooth it makes my skin feel.  Go fruit enzymes!  

Some reliable moisture was in order so I stuck with a safe mask- the Progloss Gold Honey Bee Gone mask.  The honeybee is almost an animal right;);)? These masks will be forever purchases.  They conform perfectly, smell like floral honey and deliver tons of hydration leaving my skin slightly tacky and prepped for the day! I have nothing bad to say about them.

@CookieGirl1  It felt sooooo good!   The great thing is it’s only as rough as you press and you can rely on the ahas to do the work if you’re not into the physical exfoliants for any reason.  I was very much into them this time:).

Welcome back; it’s so good to see you! And this pair of masks! What a fabulous honey themed masking sesh @heartsmyface! 💛🍯 I love that sheet mask too! I’ve been impressed with the brand! The exfoliating mask sounds so good! 😍 Microdermabrasion? I’m in!

@itsfi  Thanks.  I’m feeling almost back to normal though I’m dealing with a little unintended sun/wind exposure around the nose area. Not a burn so, so worth it! 
The honey was very helpful!   my skin feels good again with a little added horse oil and vitamin E.  ha, it’s been a long time since I really NEEDED exfoliation and I needed it this morning.  
Which other masks have you tried from this brand?

Phew! Glad to hear it’s not a burn @heartsmyface! Are you using a product with vitamin E in it or something with Vitamin E and a carrier oil? I saw some beauty capsules with aloe and vitamin E that looked interesting but I’m thinking maybe just picking up something like the latter at Whole Foods or health store. 

From VT, I’ve tried the Cica sheets that are meant for daily masking - I think I’m on box #3 now.

I want to try the various individual sheet masks in the pro Cica line and have the sheet from their Hyalon line in the queue. I’ve tried the wash off masks in this progloss and  the Cica line in the capsule format and those are nice. 👍🏼 

Their sun compact is good too for reapplication. Took me a while to like it but I do now. I’m thinking about trying one of foundation cushion compacts, maybe the one with collagen in it. Clearly, I’ve fallen down the VT Cosmetics rabbit hole. 🕳 😂

@itsfi  So right now I am dealing with a scratch on the side of my nose from being itchy and carelessly scratching so I’m wound treating while trying to hydrate, so I’ve been mixing basic vitamin E supplement capsules with polysporin and blue tansy oil.  And I spray intermittently with rose water cause it feels and smells nice.

@lmaster  Ha survived! 😝 It was a lot of fun.  we’re anxiously doing a Did We Get Covid? countdown cause that was a lot of physical contact and food sharing.  So far so good.  We tested ourselves when we got home and were all negative then.  Just three more days and we’re in the clear.

For the Animal Print theme I chose a little French Bulldog from The masqueBAR.

There was a lot of serum saturated in the mask.  It was really cute.  The fit was good and it stayed moist for the 20 minutes it stayed on my face.

 I had no reaction to it!

My skin was very moist with serum when I took it off.  I left it on to absorb into my skin.

 I liked this and would repurchase,
