Week 20 - The "Tailored For You" Makeup Capsule I'm going the bespoke route this week's theme, with product combinations in specific makeup categories that give me a unique, customized shade. Products with an asterisk (*) after the product name means this week will be the first time I put those beauties to use. COMPLEXION:Blending Tower 28 Beauty SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation with a drop or two of the First Aid Beauty Bronze + Glow Drops with Niacinamide 1 oz / 30 ml to give my complexion a little more color and warmth. I don't normally wear primer under my skin tints, but will use the Anna Sui Gel Foundation Primer a couple of times this week. Trying to decide if it should stay or go. SunnyDays should even my skin tone and reduce what redness I have on my cheeks but I will likely need some Tower 28 Beauty Swipe All-Over Hydrating Serum Concealer to cover the redness around my nose - darn you, spring allergies! Setting my face this week will involve alternating between the tried-and-true coupling of the Gucci Brume de Beauté Beauty Mist 2.7 oz / 80 mL and ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr On 'Til Dawn Mattifying Waterproof Setting Spray, and two new-to-me products - ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder and KimChi Chic Beauty Puff Puff Pass Set & Bake Powder - this is the lavendar shade; I feel like I have the translucent version as well somewhere 🤔 EYES:The dynamic duo of Thrive Causemetics Eyeshadow Stick (in shade Q) and Danessa Myricks Beauty Infinite Chrome Waterproof Micropencil Eyeliner Bronzite makes another showing this week. No primer needed with this eyeshadow stick. I like the versatility of the DM Bronzite - liner and/or deepening the eye look by placing it in the outer V. DIOR Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Waterproof Mascara Black - if I'm feeling adventurous this week, I may try layering this with the new DIOR Diorshow Overvolume Extreme Volume Mascara Overblack (not pictured) Glossier Boy Brow Volumizing Eyebrow Gel-Pomade CHEEKS:Tower 28 Beauty SuperDew Shimmer-Free Highlight Balm 0.158 oz/ 4.5 g Layering, mixing, blending (something like that) my sticks - HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Color Fuse Longwear Hydrating Glassy Lip + Cheek Blush Balm Stick Glassy Hibiscus and HAUS LABS BY LADY GAGA Color Fuse Longwear Hydrating Glassy Lip + Cheek Blush Balm Stick Glassy Clove - for some blonzer. If / Once I get close to getting the look/color I'm envisioning in my head, I'll post to the Spring Cheek Challenge 2025: Style Awakening thread for this week's Sunday's Best prompt. LIPS:I have options for lips this week. My primary pairing will involve swiping Kulfi Heirloom Satin Lipstick Rose Wood across both my top and bottom lip and then lightly dabbing Florasis Blooming Rouge Love Lock Lipstick (M7319 Love Remains) along the bottom before rubbing my lips together. I'll give the AC Hibiscus and HL Glassy Clove combo a try on the lips as well. And, of course, I can wear all those shades separately. The Fits: Oh goodness, fits this week isn't happening as far as makeup bags go. I tried to see if they'd all fit in this Anna Sui beauty box, but nope. I'm feeling a little lazy at the moment, so I'll use last week's Tower 28 tote again - it's got space. 😉 REVIEW - Week 19: The AAPI Founded / Owned Brand Makeup CapsuleThere were a couple of standouts from last week's capsule, long time GOATs - Tower 28 SunnyDays and their eyelash curler. They keep their crowns. That tote is a winner too! A couple of items are ones I'll use until I finish 'em up, and I'll use them if they make it into my collection again (or may already be in there, in some hue or another), but they're not ones I'd run out to repurchase; namely, the lip balm and the mascara. The latter is one of my favorite non-waterproof versions, and, like I said, if I find some in my stash (I know there are unopen mini's / travel sizes in there), I'll use them, but I won't replenish afterwards. As for the liner as an eye liner, it's still in the testing phase - the week flew by really quickly and I lost track of how much time I had to test all the things. I need to give it more tries, but will keep you posted @ather.

I researched the best women’s shapewear bodysuit over the past few days because I need something comfortable, supportive, and invisible under clothes for special occasions and everyday wear. I read reviews on The New York Times (Wirecutter), Consumer Reports, and Cosmopolitan, and they consistently recommend these two as top picks: SHAPERX Women's Shapewear Bodysuit Tummy Control Body Shaper Seamless Sculpting Snatched Waist Body Suithttps://www.amazon.com/SHAPERX-Shapewear-Control-Bodysuit-SZ5218-2-Black-S/dp/B0BFKLPYP4?th=1&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=thehomecrat06-20&linkId=01f7318ed89ab81f799c0196fdf3dc59&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl SHAPERMINT Shapewear for Women - High-Waisted Shapewear Tummy Control Shorts, Faja Body Shaper, Underwear for Womenhttps://www.amazon.com/SHAPERMINT-Shapewear-women-High-Waisted-underwear/dp/B07YNXVGPD?th=1&psc=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=thehomecrat06-20&linkId=df046c62007af2cb32c0afdb09508fab&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl However, I’m having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs and would really appreciate your advice. I’m looking for something that offers firm control, stays in place throughout the day, and works well under dresses or fitted outfits. Comfort is also a major priority—I don’t want to feel restricted or overheated.Has anyone tried either of these? Or do you have a favorite shapewear bodysuit that you'd recommend instead? Thanks so much in advance!
