Eyeliner is just practicing and lots of it in my case. 😜 Sometimes my hand isn't as steady as I would like and other times it just works out better.

I usually use tape to keep the lines nice and straight on my wing, but I have been free handing it more often. (Thou the tape is soo much easier 👌)

For my tight line I really like my SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Eyeliner Brush #22 it's got a great thin edge and the line can be nice and thin. If I'm not feeling drawing I just use it to stamp the line and then lightly go over the line to blend it in to look even if that makes sense

Ooo I love that tip! Thank you 🙂 totally makes sense. I have never tried tape I would like to is there a certain type that you use? I think it’s neat I can imagine that being a great visual, I could always use the help with gliding and such! 💝 @CynthieLu

The tape is pretty fun, it takes a little time to figure out the angles that you like best. 😀

There's a lot of makeup tape out there there, the one I have used in the past is possibly discontinued thou.. SEPHORA COLLECTION Makeup Tape. Right now I'm using painters tape from my cupboard and putting in on the back of my hand and removing it a few times to get it less sticky. I don't want anything pulling to hard around my eye area.  I just use it to help guide the bottom of my wing but people use it in an sorts of ways @peculiarzmakeup

This is my first time trying to do a layered liner. 

I did this with  Danessa Myricks Beauty Linework Paintbrush Fluid Liquid Eyeliner 0.034 oz / 1 ml on the bottom and some blue eyeshadow ( shade Electrik ) from Natasha Denona's Circo Loco palette.

 

I began with the lower wing, very small. Layered above I put the bright shadow. I think for a first attempt I feel really good about it, but I definitely need to work on techniques and practice this one. 

I started out using a back powder for the first lower layer wing but decided quickly that it would be to difficult to layer to powders together so I quickly switched to the liquid fluid pen from DM.

I think that’s so neat, I can relate to the idea of each time doing a look of a specific aspect of makeup learning more and more it’s like watching the same episode of a show and finding a new perspective or way to apply its context speaking of I don’t remember the last time I watched a show lol I’m getting off topic. I think this turned out beautifully but I know and can relate so much to the learning process 💜 @CynthieLu

Wings 🪽

This is Norvina Vol 4 from Anastasia Beverly Hills 

I used shadows from this palette to do my wings and eye makeup. I find it easiest to do them with a little tape for guidance and my trusty SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Eyeliner Brush #22. I picked a deep brown when a tinge of purple for my upper liner and wing with a fun lilac purple to line my bottom line.
