I wanted to try freehanding my eyeliner today, I didn't want to break out my trusty make up tape ( SEPHORA COLLECTION Makeup Tape ) I think it turned out OK today (😁 Any success free handing is a huge win. 🥳 )

I used 2 of my Danessa Myricks Micro Pens 🖊 they are fantastic! A bit fragile but they have a beautiful payofff. I love these soo much!

I lined my top lashline from middle to outer corner with Charoite and use Rose Quartz on the bottom and upper inner corner. I smoothed it out with a angled eyeliner brush after.

In Real Life you can see the Rose Quartz better, it is soft and subtle but very pretty 💕

You can see Rose Quaryz a little better,  it's just a tad shimmery. It adds a lovely effect IRL 😉

I do prefer the tape,  it always looks so sharp but I'm okay with this too 😋 it's my cleanest free hand yet,  @JoSometimes thank you!

Glittery Glam ✨

This is Kelp Forest, a dazzling sparkly green from Clionadh's Deep Sea Treasures Palette. And Scuba, a bold sparkly purple.

I did my upper outer third and full lower with Kelp and inner upper corner with Scuba. Okay I'll just say, these are total stand out shades 😎

I’m curious to see a swatch of just the liner if you happen to have one.

I use eyeshadows as eyeliner more often @JoSometimes  I have at least a hundred pans lol I like the color choices and versatility of Eyeshadow. I have mixing mediums to turn them into liquid eyeliner or make them water proof, super cool right?

You can even mix them with setting spray or water. Fyi, just wash your brush immediately after or they get rock hard. 

I have a tiny metal spatula and a tray to do the mixing but you don't need all that,  a small old tester bottle or cap work perfectly as long as they are clean. 

This is the entire swatch for the palette if your curious 😁

(Some of these are heavy on the glitter, there is alot of fall out when I use them as eyeshadow so I use tape and do my foundation after just to hide the mess lol. It's my only notable downside that I have to this gorgeousness)

@CynthieLu Ooooooohhhhh! I fully thought you had separate eyeliners from them. I didn’t realize you were just using eyeshadow. I’ve seen tutorials where they use eyeshadow, a dense, angled brush, and surgical placement to create an eyeliner-esque look and I’ve read about mixing mediums on here before but never gave it much thought. Definitely need to check this out in more depth. I probably won’t get to buying new soon but the seed has been planted. 😊

I have a little collection of eyeliner brushes, my 2 favorites are by ELF and Sephora Pro

(SEPHORA COLLECTION PRO Eyeliner Brush #22 . The most and least expensive lol but they are the best 👌 )

(And water or setting spray work if you don't want to dive into mixing mediums 😉) food for thought 😋
