I didn't know they discontinued Toast...it was lovely.  But again, leaned red.  I ordered it once but returned it because it looked way too much like Apricot, which I own.

I'll take a look at Lana!  I love the Audacious formula, so why not.

For Gwen, here's Bite Apricot.

This is the inside of my arm, which is more pale than my face (which is light to light-medium).  On my arm and in this lighting (in my bathroom, bright light, no flash), Apricot looks quite orange.  However, on my lips it leans more red.  My lips tend to make lip products appear more cool-toned than when I swatch on my arm.

Like I said earlier, Apricot is very similar to Toast (virtually identical, in my eyes).

For a color reference, below is a swatch of Apricot (right) next to UD Matte Temper (left).  As you can see, Apricot is definitely more orange.  I really do love it, it's just not quite..."it", if you know what I mean.

Apologies for the photos...my photography skills really haven't improved since elementary school.

Thank you! I have been eyeing this one on and off for a couple years at least. I think it's time to just get it. Would you say it is like a burnt (muted?) warm orange-red? Almost leaning towards burnt sienna?

Hmmm, it's definitely not in the burnt sienna family.  I was looking for a burnt orange, and it's not that either.  It's more a red that leans orange than an orange that leans red (did that make sense to anyone?!).  

The color reminds me of this picture:

It's in that zone where it could go either way.  You're more pale than I am, so on you it very well may look more orange.  I think you should go for it.  Even though it leans more red on me, it's still one of the best warm reds I've tried!  If you're looking for more of a browny orange, though, you'll be disappointed.

Interesting. This does help to clarify; thank you. 🙂 I'm going to try it! I will post a photo when I have it... But I'm not in a rush. I haven't made a Sephora order since December 24! 😮

I might still be on the lookout for a burnt muted orange... Like NARS 'Jane' but deeper. Let me know if you come across anything like that and I will be sure to let you know if I do.

I do love Blood Orange.  I was quite happy to see they made it permanent, because now I can stop hoarding the one I have and wear it more, LOL.
