Gwen, the swatches posted here don't look very matte at all.  They might be those modern creamy type mattes.  I am not a matte lipstick person as they look too flat to me.  But these look like they have a pretty finish.

I agree. I prefer a bit of sheen with a creamy texture but with less slip than a lot of "satin" finishes have. I only know that BITE calls these their Matte Crème formula, so I'm trying to make sense of it. 😉 A lot of people refer to the High Pigment Pencils as matte, while I don't find them to ever be true mattes on me.

I think if I get just one, it will be Barberry. I think Juniper looks gorgeous but very similar to NARS Vera, which I have...

I hope we will see swatches on darker skintones soon, lippies often look different on me because of my pigmented lips (I think you know how that is!)

I like them all.  I'm conflicted by Elderberry.  It's really pretty, but I already own a few colors that dark that I hardly wear, so... :S

I think Plum and Barberry are my favorites.

I am the same Mocha.  I have a couple of dark colours that I like and wear - but I don't wear them often.  Another dark shade doesn't interest me.

Plum , Juniper, Barberry will get plenty of use (whatever plenty means to me.)

P.S:  I also already have Tom Ford Black Dahlia.  It is a matte and Elderberry is similar in depth of shade.

Elderberry looks a lot like Scarlet to me - which I love - but I'm not sure I wear it often enough to warrant another purchase.

That's how April looked? Hmm, it looks how I hoped 003 would have pulled on me but turned out to be completely red. And after proclaiming multiple times I'm not into purple or orchid I'm looking back at 002 and 004 like I need those now😑😬lol

misscg, I might have them mixed up.  The picture of her wearing Juniper looks a lot like how the one they named Dragonfruit (I think April, but perhaps March) looks on me.

Nope you're right. 003 is Chilly pepper, 004 is Dragon Fruit. I'm getting dizzy from all the colors lol.

You know now that you say that it kinda does. I think barberry looks similar to LLLR #2 (which I love and wouldn't mind getting a second one). I like plum and black cherry plus both opals - I watched the YouTube clip. This is an expensive month for lippies - first the TF nordies set and now this.

I thought barberry looked like 002 as well, until I watched the video clip.  It seems a bit paler than 002 on video.

Oh my goodness! I need the Opal lipstick and Black Cherry so badly. Black Cherry seems similar-ish to the limited 001, anyone else agree? Just judging from the bullet ATM.
