Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

To those of you who are Asian or know about Asian skincare, the award-winning Korean skincare company Laneige is coming to the U.S. through Target! YES!!!!!! I love that international beauty brands are becoming more and more available in the U.S., especially since now I don't have to buy skincare from sketchy ebay sellers, lol. 🙂  First Hada Labo at Ulta, and now, Laneige! What's next? I hope holika holika or Skin79....

Don't bother buying Laneige anywhere but AMAZON. Much much cheaper. Great product brand btw. I like it almost as much as I love shiseido.

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

I checked Target's site and the Laneige line is only available for online ordering.

I will be excited to try this is if it isn't too expensive, asian women have beautiful skin so yay asia thanks for bringing this to us!

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

It's comparable with some department store brands, with the creams costing about $35 per 1.7 oz. and the popular sleeping mask at about $40 per 2.7 oz.

Ooh, this is exciting! I hate waiting on shipping from Korea, so it'd be cool to be able to pick up  some things from a local Target. If you don't mind ordering online, though, you can try beautynetkorea or Pretty&Cute. Beautynetkorea also has an eBay store (f2plus1) and I've personally bought from rinishop on there. I got some nice samples when I ordered from that one. 🙂

YAY I adore Laneige. Discovered at an airport in Hong Kong or Singapore, I cannot remember. I use the Sleeping Pack_EX all the time!

I, too, hope that Holika Holika or Skin79 gets here next...looove both of those product lines.

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

So, I'm guessing you like the Sleeping Pack? Smiley Wink  I still haven't opened mine and it's been 6 months!

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

I might put a couple of laneige samples in the traveling box I'm in :). The lady I buy my skincare from is soooo generous 🙂

Has anyone tried the Sulwahsoo mask?

If anyone knows where I can find Etude or Skinfood in MD, I'll be forever in your debt...

The Laneige BB cream is awesome...I bought the Laneige SlidingPact but it broke me out...so sad because the color is like no other powder or finishing powder...nothing compares to it....

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

I've used a few Sulwahsoo items.  Personally, while I think this is a great brand, I'll be sticking to Sooryehan and History of Whoo for my medicinal herb skincare.  I feel like Sulwahsoo was meant for much, much drier skin than mine (normal/combo), but to be fair, I somehow always end up trying this brand's stuff in warmer weather when my skin is on the oily side.

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

Well, I'm "addicted" to Target and skincare, so I'm excited! Please, when it happens, help us with what parts of the line are indispensable!

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

There is a hilarious post on a blog called Illustrated with Crappy Pictures that touches on the inability to leave a Target without buying a LOT more than you went in to buy. Google it. You will not be sorry. 😄

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

I am addicted to Target, too….lol…..not sure if you watch "The King of Queens", but my favorite quote from there:

"I went to Target…..or, as I like to call it, 'Tar-get me one of everything in here!' "

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

I could just set up a cot in their back room. Love Target!

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

YES!!!!

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

Do you know if Target is going to carry the make-up as well, or is it just the skin care?

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

So..this is sad..I have a 80 mL Water Sleeping Pack EX ,,unused.  I got it in July.  :smileyembarrased:  I was going to put into a TSB if someone was interested.  I just have too many skincare products.  hahaha

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

Ooh, I want it! Do you want to trade for several Bite Beauty High Pigment Matte Pencils? I have WAY too many of those... Let me know!

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

Yesssssssss! Thanks so much my dear 🙂 You just made my day 😄 If my local Target starts carrying Laneige, I'd probably shop there every single day 😄 lol... I'm so excited 🙂

P/s:And the photo is beautiful (I wish I had flawless skin like her 😞  Song Hye Kyo ^^ one of my favorite Korean actresses :x

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

Watched "That Winter, The Wind Blows" and kept wondering about her skincare regimen.  Even for TV, her skin is fantastic.

Re: Laneige is coming to your Target on February 17! Bye, bye paycheck!

I'm excited to see what they bring over and add English-language labeling to. I have access to some great Korean products but hate having to tape a post-it with English directions and ingredients lists to the bottles. 🙂

As for Koreans naturally having great skin, it's certainly possible. However, I live in an area with a high Korean population and I've also noticed that there are cultural things at play as well - lots of natural products, low-focus on scented products, mugwort everywhere. We have a Korean women's spa in my area and it's awesome - body scrubbing services and steam rooms and various temperature baths and mugwort sauna and a mugwort bath and heated drying rooms. Once a month in that place just using the pools/heated rooms and my skin is fairly flawless, as well.
