Breakouts. They happen. 😩 I've been getting one, sometimes two, every month, it seems, for the last few months after a period of time of not experiencing any breakouts save one here and there. After last month's breakout, I went to find this Solawave Bye Acne: 3 Minute Blue + Red Light Acne Treatment and have been putting the handy, travel-friendly and easy-to-use gadget to use when I feel a pimple forming. I put it to use recently on a couple of pimples this month. Using this little do-hickey on each spot for a few minutes each for a few nights has been good - it doesn't hurt and some good results can be had, depending on how consistent you are with using it and the size and nature of the breakout. Consistent use, of course, plays a key role, but I also found this works best (and faster) on smaller or moderate sized zits, which makes sense, though I did see a reduction in redness with larger breakouts than I would otherwise experience if I didn't use this device on them. As for the two pimples I used the device on this month, one was zapped away before it could fully form - yesssss!!! The other one, a little bigger than the first, took a little more time, but the area didn't get as red or inflamed as my breakouts can get. TL;DR: Portable, quick (3 minutes per spot) and it doesn't hurt, and works fairly well when I feel a pimple forming. Good for reducing healing time for mild-to-moderate pimple and inflammation. Monthly Faves: November 2025! Howdy, BIC! I hope you’re all doing well, spending quality time with loved ones, taking care of yourselves, and getting ready to close out the year! I want to recognize that this season, especially now, can be extra busy with lots of pressure to shop ‘til you drop (hey, sometimes that is its own form of self-care 😜), so manifesting lots of peace, joy, and ~balance~ for my fellow Community members, whatever that looks like for you! As for me, I simply cannot resist a good deal, but I’ll be hyper-focused on mindful gifts and must-haves (okay, and maybe a treat or two for myself…) 😁 Speaking of self-care, here are some products that have sparked joy for me this month: EADEM Le Chouchou Exfoliating + Softening Peptide Lip Balm Burnt Malai - milky desert rose Kiehl's Since 1851 Micro-Dose Anti-Aging Retinol Serum with Ceramides & Peptide Sarah Creal Face Flex Concealer & Complexion Enhancer with Caffeine Shark Beauty Shark Glossi™ 2-in-1 Hot Tool and Air Glosser VIOLETTE_FR LUNE LINER Multichrome Liquid Eyeliner Aurora Your turn, BIC! Use the reply button below to share your own favorite products for November. Be sure to tag any products you mention with the “#” symbol (hair, makeup, fragrance, wellness, skincare, etc.)!

November 2025 FoilsMonth-to-Date: 1Year-to-Date: 80 Just the one foil this month @ather. While it's a small foil count, it's not an insignificant one - there was a lot of product in the sample blister for Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Creaseless Precise Angles Concealer. I used it primarily to conceal some breakouts on my chin and a couple of dark spots and sun spots. I liked this concealer a lot, surprisingly because so much that I will likely pick up a full size, but probably not until next year. I've been doing a pretty good job of rotating through and using my foundation and concealers but I've not been needing to use as much of either, and I don't want to have too many products sitting unopen (or sitting open and unused for that matter). That said, I can see myself purchasing this one early next year and it'll make its way to the Love At First Sample!!! 🥰 thread when I do.

The other night I couldn't sleep, so I reorganized my headbands. Here is my current collection:not the best picture, sorry!I count 38 headbands, and 2 spaces left in this organizer. If I get any more headbands than that in the future, I will have to destash some! 😅My headbands are from various brands/retailers, including: TJ Maxx, Lele Sadoughi, Etsy shops, Lilly Pulitzer, SheIn, Anthropologie, Ulta, etc.
