Help!

Can you recommend anything for allergic reaction? I tried a sample and woke up extremely swollen/red from using OleHenriksen goodnight glow

RE: Help!

As a former model with severe topical allergies I learned that Hydrocortisone cream is stellar for same day relieving redness & burning from true allergic reactions (but don’t use frequently because it can thin the skin)... also use cold compresses -best of luck!

If you want to try something topical, the Origins Mega Mushroom Resilience toner is very soothing, and you can follow up with the moisturizer. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair cream is also very soothing. It has colloidal oatmeal in there so it will calm any irritation. If all else fail then go see a dermatologist.

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but I'm hoping it will be of value to you. (I also SUFFER allergic reactions to many, many things I *try* to use on my skin) this is the best advice I have EVER gotten *from an allergy specialist at Children's Mercy in Kansas City* *****use dove unscented BAR soap (he said the body wash is a different formula) and follow with aquaphor (the vaseline like stuff in a tub like package), this may be heavy for the face at times, but I can tolerate it for a day or two when needed. This has TRANSFORMED my skin (use this combo every day on my body) I never realized how allergic I really was to any and all soaps till I made the switch. Also, I am able to use Tarte skincare (though it is expensive) I love the rainforest of the sea gel cleaner and drink of H2O moisturizer for daily use. I know this wasn't the answer to your question, but I thought maybe it could help you if you deal with allergies. ❤️

RE: Help!

Calamine is really good for calming itchiness, redness and Swollen areas.

Regarding your allergic reaction.. have you tried tea bags? I find the tannic ingredients work well and reduce redness and itching.,

RE: Help!

Benadryl and ibuprofen. Icing the area may help. Stay hydrated and get some rest!

RE: Help!

Something natural young living lavender essential oil

RE: Help!

I use the brand The Ordinary sold at Sephora. They are absolutely no nonsense and have no additives for sensitive skin. Ole is heavily scented, which is why you may have broken out. You should check out the brand! They are also very affordable.
