Sea salt or sugar sprays?

I have dead-straight, super oily hair. I've been looking for either a salt or sugar spray that would work for me but has a super lightweight feel because I have pretty thin hair and I can't stand the feel of residue all day. I don't really I have a preference over sugar or salt, and I've never used any product like sprays before. What would you guys recommend?

Re: Sea salt or sugar sprays?

I love BUMBLE AND BUMBLE Sea Salt Spray.

It is very light weight (I have oily hair too), gives a little volume and it gives nice texture too! It looks like I walked off the beach as soon as I leave my place.

Re: Sea salt or sugar sprays?

I have an issue with sugar sprays making my hair sticky and acting almost like a lightweight hairspray, so they are best when you style your hair. However, if you are looking for a daily use spray, I also have very oily hair and I love sea salt sprays. Drybar Mai Tai Spritzer Sea Salt Spray 3.4 oz/ 100 mLis my favorite that Sephora carries, but homemade sea salt sprays can work just as well, but with a much cheaper price point.

@ I would opt for a dry shampoo maybe since sugar and salt sprays have never worked for me personally. The sugar can get everything mildly tacky/sticky if it's ever humid out especially
