Sephora and their Chemical Free Promise

There was an article in New Beauty recently that focused on how Sephora is doubling down on their Chemical-Free Promise (that's actually the headline if you want to search it).

Wondering if Sephora will comment on this tactic and how they intend to use this designation in their product catering. I understand that there are a list of chemicals that Sephora won't cater in their products but to label it as "chemical-free" is really deceptive as the reality is pretty much everything is a chemical (i.e. Water is a chemical). It would lead me to believe that we will no longer be able to purchase products such as chemical sunscreens (Goodbye Supergoop! So long Fenty Skin) since they are inherently chemically based. Personal opinion the labelled of "clean" was better suited then a chemical-free promise.
