I hope September has been good to you, BIC 🧡 As for me, I’ve been savoring the last moments of summer ☀ so I could welcome the cozy transition to fall with open arms – call me EXCITED 🍂 This month has also been full of travel for close friends’ weddings, so I had to reactivate my makeup skills to pull out some glam looks 🤩 As a skincare girly, I’ve been simultaneously giving my skin some extra love since we’re not in the routine of doing a regular beat. Smelling good is also a must, and I tend to reach for something a little fancier when getting gussied for an event 🌟

@CynthieLu  thank you! You are totally right, Nest has some really awesome scents and they always have great throw. These ones are just as good as I've come to expect from the brand. It's hard to pick a favorite, but I might like Pumpkin Chai best so far; Pistachio & Wild Fig is probably the most unique, but the Pumpkin Chai is like, the perfect pumpkin spice scent IMO.

@gonerogue Its such a staple, I’ve gone through too many bottles to count over the past few years and a couple bottles of the serum, too. Tower 28 really knocked it out of the park with the SOS line ☺️

@caitbird you said it! I feel bad looking at all my other lippies but the Dior is just so good. If only I could repurchase this exact shade and formula 🥹 it is the worry when a good product gets discontinued!

Ahhh I love benefits colours for thier eyebrow pencils. They do eyebrow products sooooo well.👌 Can I ask what shade do you use?

@CynthieLu I use shade 3.5 🙂 I’m almost tempted to check them out in store next time and see if a lighter shade of brown would be nice 

I love their brow products soo much too, I tired other brands and keep ending up back with benefit.  One thing that grinds my gears though, some of their packing names come right off and then I can’t always remember what it was. Gimme Brow was bad for it.

Ahhh great minds @bakeamuffin I've been wanting to do some shade sleuthing too.  I use the 3 and I'm curious to see what the other shades would look like on me.  If you wind up going sometime, let me know how the colors work out for you. 

It's funny you say that, the label on thier volumizing gel I have is practically non existent now. 😅

I’ve been trying to do my makeup more subtle. I just started mixing a little Glossier Invisible Shield Priming Sunscreen SPF 50 1.7 oz / 50 mL with a dab of Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez Soft Pinch Liquid Blush Joy in my palm, then softly tapping it on my cheeks. It gives this great glowy blended blush look. I also put a little of it on my lips. The sunscreen has the same feel as a makeup primer, it glides on your skin nicely. Loving these two items together!
