I hope September has been good to you, BIC 🧡 As for me, I’ve been savoring the last moments of summer ☀ so I could welcome the cozy transition to fall with open arms – call me EXCITED 🍂 This month has also been full of travel for close friends’ weddings, so I had to reactivate my makeup skills to pull out some glam looks 🤩 As a skincare girly, I’ve been simultaneously giving my skin some extra love since we’re not in the routine of doing a regular beat. Smelling good is also a must, and I tend to reach for something a little fancier when getting gussied for an event 🌟

@PDXXXX  great faves, and thanks for sharing your thoughts on each of them! I have been eyeing the Laneige set, and once I've tried and used some of the many blushes I picked up this summer, I definitely plan to check out the Hourglass blush - I've heard so many good things!

The way you describe Hour Glasses liquid blush is so tempting! @PDXXXX what shade(s) have you tried? Do you have a fave?

@CynthieLu it really was an excellent find! I have fair/light skin with neutral undertones and I'm currently using it in the shade Scene (soft warm pink). I often go for peachy/pink shades and I think this one nails it - I get the hint of peach without it running too coral or orange like some peachy shades and the formula is sheer enough that you can adjust coverage easily. I'm super tempted to try the Vision (true rose) or Whim (bright pink as well). I'm usually a cream blush girl but this really does blend so well and give a sheerer finish option if you're curious 🙂

I am curious! Thank you for this description 🙏🙏 @PDXXXX I love peachy shades too, and I hear that, they can go just a tad too orange quickly. My go to peach right now is Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder Flushed - Matte Color for Cheek & Lip Bellini but I'd love to try something along those lines in the Hourglass liquids. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for a in store tester, thank you!

@peculiarzmakeup yaaas! I've purchased those two as well as #Ellis Brooklyn Salt (I'm a sandalwood fanatic and love it as a salty/beachy summer scent) and love how they all layer. I don't usually go for Vanilla scents but somehow the Ellis Brooklyn doesn't make me feel like I'm drenched in cake batter, lol. Their body oil is amaazing too if you're ever looking though I wish it came in more of their scents (I think right now it only comes in Salt and Myth).

Iris&Romeo Weekend Skin SPF 50 Instant Glow Tinted Mineral Sunscreen with Vitamin C + Niacinamide - I love this stuff. It’s probably my favorite product of 2024 to be honest. 

Saie Dew Bronze Soft-Focus Sculpting Liquid Bronzer - My daily contour and bronzer as of late. 

dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream with Taming Wand Taming Wand - It’s been the final step in my hair routine everyday. 

CLINIQUE Pop Plush™ Creamy Lip Gloss Black Honey Pop - My transition to fall shade.

September is getting cooler and I'm definitely more of a fall person 🍂 and I'm welcoming this season change with a huge smile! 

These are some products that have also  been keeping me smiling this September, and a few are new to me as well. 

My dry/sensitive skin has always been a battle to keep hydrated.  These are two skincare hero's for my dry skin.

#Peter Thomas Roth Peptide Skinjection™ Moisture Infusion Refillable Cream 1.7 ml / 50 ml  is an ultra rich addition to my nighttime routine. Followed up by, Danessa Myricks Beauty Yummy Skin Moisture Repair Balm Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and Squalane 1.41 ... to seal everything in. Talk about a perfect pairing 👌💙

New to me this month are the always fabulous Hour Glass holiday palette releases. I picked up Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked Palette Evil Eye and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Brush as my first ever Hour Glass brush. I love the bronzer in this palette and using PATRICK TA Precision Dual Ended Nose Brush with it to help with my contour has been so handy. 😀
