The #SephoraSquad is Sephora’s one-of-a-kind influencer program made of authentic voices of people from all ages and backgrounds who truly love Sephora, such as our beautiful Community members. This program provides the opportunity to land paid 2020 Sephora partnerships where finalists become connected with exciting Sephora products and resources. Members of the #SephoraSquad also gain access to a network of brands, industry experts, and, most importantly, they get to make new friends! To apply, you don’t have to be “picture perfect” or have a large following on your social media channels. Sephora is looking for unique individuals who are genuinely passionate about all things beauty.

Hi!!! Good luck to everyone who applied to #sephorasquad this year!!! I, personally know that even if I don't get selected, it was amazing to be able to reconnect with how my content is helping others during tough times. Seeing the testimonials they posted and shared, was a reminder why we (creators) do what we do. We can help people feel good even when we don't realize it. 

If you are an influencer and reading this, you may very well know we have a fiduciary duty to listen to what our communities are saying in regards to the products we are reviewing and endorsing then somehow try to pass it back to these brands. Sephora is making this portion of our duty a LOT EASIER. The innovation behind allowing a beauty guru to provide insight from their own beauty community makes me love Sephora more than I ever even thought possible. I hope everyone sees the pioneer mindset behind what is happening with this amazing program. This is what helps makes products and marketing campaigns authentic, and successful. I am crossing my fingers I get to incorporate my community into the Sephora brand!

I applied back in March. I will be turning 49 in June, and my platform is beauty at any age. Sephora would be a wonderful partner in which to relay that message especially for older women of color. I saw some females over 50 that were on the squad last year. Let’s keep the conversation going! I may be a newcomer to this, but I know what my worth is, and what I can contribute to Sephora Squad. Hi, Sephora BIC friends!  I'm going out on a limb (for me) by posting my IG handle here in case you'd be kind and leave me a testimonial. 

I created my Instagram account last year just so that I could write testimonials for @heartsmyface and @Tamara76.  Since then I've been so happy with how I've been able to keep up with my BIC's friends pages, including @fatimamummy, @faeriegirl, @bakeamuffin, @michelleshops, @ZombieMetroAnt, and more fantastic BIC friends because Sephora has a limit on tagging in posts.

I'm trying to get better at posting to my IG.  You'll see that 90% of pictures are haul pictures that I've posted here on BIC.

Sephora is so unique and different with this new Sephora Squad program they have. Much respect to this company! This is why I love this store and feel more welcomed because they do not care about the number of following you have. They seek for true talent without the need of having hundreds or thousands of followers. They make the "unknown" known. Sephora gives the opportunity to allow everyone an equal chance to reach their dreams and true potential. It does not matter where you are from or what background you have, just a naturally aspiring beauty lover is all they need. I applied for the #SephoraSquad because I would love to continue inspiring others about beauty and self care. I truly love the thought of having people enjoy my work and motivational advise. Nothing gives me a better feeling knowing that I am impacting people through my posts to be a better person and motivating them to continue to strive for their goals and dreams.
