Important Changes to Beauty Insider Community Private Messages

Beginning August 1st, 2024 at around 9am Pacific Time, the default Forum private message setting will be set to “OFF” for all members of the Beauty Insider Community. This means that all members of the Beauty Insider Community, including existing members who currently have their private messages turned on, will have their PMs defaulted to OFF on August 1st. Please visit account settings (the gear icon) on a desktop or mobile web browser to adjust your preferences.  

Once private messaging is re-enabled after being toggled off by default, any previous message history will be restored. Going forward, new members joining Community for the first time will have their private messages turned off by default when they register, with the ability to visit account settings to adjust their preferences.

@Cindylicious77 I tried to respond to your private message but it says your account is not set up to receive them. You can update it in your settings. To answer your question- 
A few times a year they send them out to the members of the community with the highest engagement. It can be on the forum, gallery, reviews, and q&a. The more you engage the higher chance you have of receiving a gratis box!

Hello! 👋 I'm noticing an small issue with this in my private messages. I'm receiving messages from members but when I try to reply to them it says they haven't turned thier messages feature on.

Maybe there could be a message, if you send a message when your PM's are tuned off. Something like a reminder to turn on thier PM's in order to hear a response?

@Bxterfly @If you want members to be able to message you the check box in settings has to be on.
