Hey there, Beauty Insider Community! 👋 Over the years, we’ve heard members ask for easier ways to find the conversations they’re looking for in Community, and as a result we’ve worked to make several improvements along the way. We’re excited to share that we have another idea to better the Community experience: we’re rolling up our sleeves to do some clean up around the Community Forum! In the coming weeks, we’ll be saying a fond “goodbye” to some older posts that have already had their time to shine so that members like you are able to search and find conversations you’re looking for faster than before. 😊

And the best part: your favorite Community posts aren’t going anywhere! We want to assure you that active, popular conversations will not be archived. 🙏 Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at some of the criteria we’ve considered – posts need to check all these boxes to be archived:

• Created before 2017 – We want to make sure the content you find while searching in Community is still relevant; we recognize some beauty products we raved about years ago may not even be available these days!
• No replies in the past 2 years – We know that threads created years ago may still have fresh activity today, so we’re keeping those conversations live.
• Not authored by us, TeamBIC, or any other admins (including ALUMs) – Official Sephora communications will be kept visible to all.

Additionally, know that nobody’s Community rank will be affected by this clean up! To learn more about your BIC rank, check out this post: Demystifying the Community Rank System. 

Lastly, heads up that if you try to access a post that has been archived, you’ll be sent to the group page it was originally posted in. From there, hopefully you’ll be able to find a similar conversation or start a new one. ✨

While we’re archiving only a small portion of posts on the Forum (for now! The shelves may get dusty again in the next year or two 😉🧹), we’re celebrating all the fun conversations that have taken place in the last THIRTEEN years of Community! Please join us by tagging some of your all-time favorite posts below. 💙

@TeamBIC   Thank you for continuing to work on our Community!   Archiving older threads is appropriate.  You are going to help keep content current.  Products change so fast so finding up to date content is well needed.

I definitely used to be more active than I am now, which maybe is contributing to my nostalgia for pre-2017 posts.  I'll miss you!

But also I'll be happy to see all the posts asking about the downgrades to the Rouge program archived.  😄
