@PrettyPaint thank you, at least I'm safe. I'm really lucky because I have a gas fireplace that was on before the electricity went off so right now I can't exactly turn it off cuz I would never get it started again! I'm very thankful for heat, though.

We're gotten a lot of snow this week and today we got sleet. 🌨️🙄 So we'll be celebrating at home. My older son is going to college this year, though 💗, so I've been really cognizant about enjoying our extra time with him before that happens.

@curlychiquita   Awww, that's so sweet.  Our eldest may be on his own by fall, graduating from college, so we've been a little maudlin here, talking about "This may be your last >>> whatever holiday it is, at home."  It hits us all really hard sometimes, but it's something everyone does.  I'm channeling my emotions into getting him prepared to take care of himself (learning to cook enough, clean, etc.)  Enjoy your time. 🙂

@TeamBIC Happy Galentine’s💘& Lunar New Year🧧 everyone! I spent today cutting my own hair while FaceTiming my best friend (for moral support haha)! By the time I cut the front evenly, the back looked off so I got my brother to help me fix it. Now it seems the back is straight but front uneven🤔 Anyone experience this before? I’ll likely need to hit up my hair salon when it opens up but my tresses are manageable for now, thank goodness! As for Valentine’s tomorrow, I’ll be watching To All the Boys Part 3!

Your hair is so beautiful!  I think that your cut looks great, too. The trim makes your hair look so much thicker. You are a success!  Tonight I want to watch part 3 of To All The Boys I've Loved Before,  too!

@Guessgal   You did a great job!  The back of the hair is the most difficult part to cut evenly, especially when it's your own.

Without going into detail, the best advice I can give you is: Stop right now. 😂 One clip of the scissors leads to another, and another...

@Guessgal   Yours looks good. 🙂  And, that rule counts whether it's you or a friend or family member trying to cut your hair.  My son cut my husband's hair twice this year; the latest time he fell into that trap!  Shortest haircut my husband ever had, but fortunately it turned out well.

I'm not doing anything too exciting but I like to snowshoe and the weather right now is perfect for it,so I'll go for a couple hours in the morning.I'm going to visit my aunt in the evening or afternoon since I do this every week and I ordered something online for her that arrived today.
