I have to work today so my Galentine's is going to be spent in the mall-  I ought to grab a Birthday gift for my step-mother before my shift.  
Tomorrow morning, I'm going out for brunch with one of my closest gal pals.  We're exchanging Christmas/Valentine's gifts finally and will probably head to a mall for some retail therapy and continuing getting caught up on all of our life's happenings.

Seeing how we're currently in the negative digits outdoors (thank you so much Punxsutawney Phil) I believe it is going to be a takeout, stay indoors so we don't freeze, and watch tv kind of a Valentine's day. I offered to cook something nice, but was shut down - not sure if that's a silent commentary on my cooking or if my husband just really wants chicken fingers from a restaurant 😅. When it's so bitterly cold out I'm all for a low key kind of day. It's wonderful weather to curl up with a nice book. Happy Valentine's Day @TeamBIC  to everyone and to our Asian friends I hope you have a Happy Lunar New Year!

I agree that when it is cold weather my favorite thing to do is just hang out on my couch wearing a flannel nightgown. I am catching up on all the shows that have been recorded during the week.  Enjoy your time with your husband and Happy Valentine’s Day!

We had the start of our celebrations tonight, bringing home pizza and wings and, for the first time, watching "Survivor." We may be binge-watching this weekend!

I hope the weekend will leave everyone feeling refreshed.  Also, we may or may not be needing to build an ark in order to be able to leave our home...

@niki172   Thanks!  What do you guys have planned?  We are supposed to go out for lunch on Monday also.  I haven't stepped on a scale this week, and I'm not going to until mid-late next week!

We tend to get pretty extensive flooding very easily, but fortunately, for some reason, the roads aren't closed and there is just ponding on the roads and in yards.

@Ispend2much6 we're looking at almost a foot of snow so yeah it's basically a stay at home kind of weekend. It's 🥶.
