Feedback Wanted: TeamBIC’s 2023 Holiday Gratis Thread

It’s the holiday season, BIC! ⛄❄️ This year, we gave select members a chance to unbox 10 days of Community Faves as a token of our appreciation for their participation in the Beauty Insider Community. Community Favorites are some of the most talked-about products among members, and we thought we would celebrate these tried-and-true holy grails by gifting them to some of you! 🎁

This thread is a place for those who are receiving these goodies from us to share their gratis – though this won’t be your traditional unboxing. 😉 Without giving too much away, we are highlighting 10 days’ worth of Community Faves, meaning that you’ll have 10 Sephora products to unveil across 10 days … should you choose to refrain from opening them all at once (no judgement either way 😄).

Though our recipients’ packages may take varying time to get delivered, they should all arrive before mid-December. 💙 While you’re free to begin unboxing your gratis as you wish when you receive it, we are challenging you to post photos and share your thoughts on each of the products according to the schedule below so we can all experience the unboxing magic together (starting with the gift labeled “Day 1”)! You can absolutely post product photos and reactions earlier if you like – we might just suggest hiding them behind a spoiler tab to keep the surprise alive for fellow recipients who are still on their unboxing journey. 🙏

Since I joined in August, I've been seeing ravings from BIC and social media about Rare Beauty. What's the hype about? I'd like to know. Lol.

Another celebrity line that's been dominant is Rihanna's Fenty Beauty/Skin. I opened the Fenty Skin Lil Butta Dropz Mini Whipped Oil Body Cream Trio #that I bought for a gift to sniff Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Butta Drop Refillable Warm Cinnamon Shimmering Whipped Oil Body Cream 6.7 oz / 200 mLWhatever person in the reviews that said it smells like a French Toast breakfast, and not in a good way was RIGHT! I won't be buying it for myself now. I'd like to know about the other Fenty items. Are we just hyping the brand because of Queen Rih?

I believe that Summer Fridays was started by an influencer... I'd like someone to fill me in on what's so great about Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm for Hydration & Shine because their sets look so tempting.

Also, I hope the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Peppermint is gifted to you all bc I'd like to buy some for myself if it actually moisturizes and doesn't just feel like an oil slick on your mouth 🤣

Oh, and I still haven't bought any DIOR Lip Glow Oil, so I'm hoping that's in your box as well!

I think any item by D'ior, especially a lip oil would be amazing. 🤩🤩 I've heard nothing but positive things about them as well.

I agree, SF lip balm it's another one people only seem too have love for here on BIC, so I would be thrilled if we see it in there as well. 🩷
