2018 SEPHORiA Feedback Thread

Last month, the BIC Team selected several community members to attend Sephora's first ever immersive beauty experience, Sephoria: House of Beauty, which took place this past weekend in Los Angeles.  In addition to receiving keys to unlock the House of Beauty, the selected community members were asked to photograph the event and report their experiences to the community.

@KatieBT I would love it if you could relay my feedback over to the team who put together Sephoria. It's always great to see you and the rest of the team and I'm excited to see you all again this weekend! I will be sure to post in the event page for any Bay area BIC'ers attending so we can try to link up before the event 😉

Great recap, @gonerogue!   

I didn’t really notice the lack of seating because I was trying to see everything and I guess my adrenaline kicked in 😉 I was there the whole 6 hours and I still totally missed Bite, Milk and the dance floor and never noticed the engraved BTS mascaras, even though I took pics in the Too Faced booth.  I can understand being tired after being on your feet the whole time, though - I was wiped out by the time I got back to the hotel, so I am pro-seating for future events💗

My only complaint about the venue was that it was really hot 😞   Otherwise I thought it was an epic location and the set up was awesome!💗

I loved checking out LA, but if they do it again, it could be fun to travel to different locations and maybe even finally get an event in Texas!!!!! 💗💗💗

@Tamara76 It's funny that you say it was too hot in there because at some point I felt like I got too cold and was purposely going up and down the stairs to warm up lol Maybe you were just running around more than I was 😉 I didn't even know that Too Faced had engraved mascaras!!! I was at that booth too and the attendant did NOT share that with me...I would have totally picked some up as gifts, oh well!

@gonerogue @darkiceis LOL - It was much cooler on the bottom level than the top 2 during Session 2, but you have a good point -I was seriously running all over the event because I didn't want to miss anything (and I was having sooooo much fun!) ❤️

@Tamara76  You for sure were running around getting to every booth!  You were determined to get to as many as possible. Don't mess with a beauty junkie with a motive 🙂

@gonerogue  Thanks so much for the earlier pics and now your in depth review!! I'm glad you had a great time, but understand that there were some things that could have gone better. I agree that it would be great to have it at different sites in the future. Being able to meet other BIC members would be great!! Thanks again for sharing!!😊

@itsfi Crossing my fingers Sephoria 2019 will be at multiple locations in the US AND Canada 😉

That is great feedback @gonerogue! I'm so glad you had a great time! I really hope they pick different locations each year (Chicago would be my choice). It think it would make it more accessible. Bummer about the swag bag.

I attended Priscilla Ono’s class and must have just missed you ladies. Priscilla showed how the fairy bomb loose powder can be used from head to toe. This included a metallic liner. Just an FYI, the masterclass are on Sephora’s YouTube channel. That way you can see all of them.

@KNC24  Very nice to meet you for a quick hello.  Highlighting from head to toe was definitely the theme of the night.  CT and Fenty were all about slathering the shimmer all over the body too. 🙂
