To save you some time, I scoured our Daily Obsessions archives to bring you Sephora staffers’ preferred mascaras. Of course if you’d like to read through 10,000 mascara threads, be my guest! (Seriously, please do. I think that’d be awesome.)

I do like Urban Decay Big Fatty and Diorshow Blackout.

Lately I have been enjoying Tarte's Lights Camera Lashes! (or Splashes! the waterproof version) and UD Lush Lash.  My all time favorite primer is Lancome Cils XL because it works and the formula starts out white but covers easily.

It's funny, I used to buy the Lash Stash every year until I realized I kept reaching for the MUFE over. And over. And over.  Now it's just whether I want a softer look or a BAM! Look at me! eye....

@solveig - that's totally how I feel too! I love the tarte, but I need uber-dram lashes everyday, even at the grocery store.

@queenbee - a vote for Lush Lash! Love it!

@beautylovingirl - nope, I meant OG (as in, original gangster), but that's probably not a work-safe term to describe mascara, so ignore me. 🙂 It's clearly a Hall of Famer mascara, though.

My two favorite are UD Lush Lash, I have noticed that my lashes are fuller and longer since using it and my other favorite is tarte lights camera lashes.

I love Buxom's Buxom Lash Mascara and Benefit's They're Real. Tarte and MUFE Smoky Lash mascaras give me pretty much the same result - very natural(=not enough drama for me). I also like Lancome's Hypnose Drama, but it doesn't stay great for a long time (2 months at the most, then it becomes sticky and leaves marks under my brows).

@kimmi - that actually happened to me with my favorite ever concealer (which will not be named here, lol). I was devastated. But it just gave me an excuse to do more shopping!

@prettyinpa - this is why I like talking about this stuff, something will always work for someone that doesn't work for somebody else. 🙂

@mia - ugh, I'm a crier too. I can't even be in the kitchen while someone else is chopping onions. 😕

Coincidentally, my top two happen to be your top two listed!  I love the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes, but need a waterproof version because of my allergies AND lets be honest, I'm a crier sometimes.  Thank goodness for Lights Camera Splashes!!  The Benefit They're Real is also great for building and holding my curl.  Two absolute necessities. I'm with Janine on the Diorshow Lash Serum... now THAT is a must 🙂

I'm with Lylysa, Fairy Drops Scandal Queen is my all time favorite. I've tried most of the ones on the list and they all fall short. Benefit's They're Real especially, I got a sample of it and it clumped like crazy on my lashes and gave me raccoon eyes!

I LOVED the original Urban Decay Big Fatty formula and brush.  Then UD had to change it for some reason.  😞

@sephoramusthave - I adore, Phenomen Eyes! It looks like a tiny medieval weapon, but it works wonders!

@lylysa - I know! 😞 But there's got to be something else you'll love. I really liked Fairy Drops but I couldn't figure out how to get all of that extra product off of the brush! lol.

@lolo01 - mascara bases are one of those products you didn't know you needed, and now you can't live without, right?

@beautylovingirl - there have actually been PLENTY of DiorShow obsessions submitted over the years, but since that's like the OG of mascaras, I tried to pick ones that may be surprises. 🙂

@Janine - I've been hearing seriously awesome things about the Overcurl. I think might need to try that.

@shyvicki - I'm actually a BadGal devotee, but They're Real is growing on me!

@starletta - I got a sample of that Bobbi Brown and did really like it. Great for everyday!

I have been loving Benefit They're Real.  It makes my lashes look fantastic!

It doesn't matter what else I use, I always have Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum on my eyelashes!

I am a MUFE Smoky Lash girl, but lately I've been loving Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara.

That's like asking to choose a favorite child! I love Benefit's They're Real, Dior's Extase, and my new favorite is Dior's Iconic Super Curl. I have a tendency to flip flop my mascaras as needed.

The one thing that never changes in my mascara routine is using Diorshow Maximizer Lash Plumping Serum! It's a primer and a lash serum.

I love Benefit Theyre Real, Tartes Light Camera Splashes, but most of all I love love love Lancome CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base - With that I dont even need to curl my lashes its amazing!
