Hello beautiful Beauty Insider Community members! 

We’re starting this thread for you guys to report any issues and weird things that you are seeing or ask any questions. We have a number of issues logged that we are already working on a fix for, so this is a work in process.

Some things to note as you are reporting issues:

• If you are looking for a thread and can’t find it, please post here. We’ll need to manually move some threads that got lost in the migration to their correct groups.
• If you are reporting a bug please be specific about the issue you're seeing, how you got there (“I clicked here and it did *this*”), the device you're using and which browser you're in. 

Some tips:

• If you are looking for a thread that you commented on in the old community, go to the front page of conversations and click the “My Posts” tab. This is where you will find all of your conversations activity, including your heart count.

Whenever reporting a bug we need as much info as possible or our tech team cannot reproduce the issue and verify it's actually occurring. If they can't see the issue they cannot fix it. You cannot overshare details, test on too many devices or share too many screenshots... The more detail the better!

What are "Spoilers" when people make a post? And how do I post them?

@rosegoldlovely Spoilers are hidden so that people cannot see them unless they click the box with an arrow and it appears in a drop down box.  To insert a spoiler click on the triangle with an exclamation in it and type in the box.

@SportyGirly125 Can you give me an example of when someone should make a spoiler? I'm just trying to understand the entire concept. I understand the point of spoilers in movies, but not in beauty products, lol.

@rosegoldlovely  I use spoilers when I want to make my post look shorter, so I don't overwhelm folks with my long posts and make them have to scroll a lot to get past it. I treat the spoiler tag as a hide/reveal (expand/collapse) content container. That's where I usually include details, notes, swatches, etc. of products I'm reviewing, for instance. I also use them to chunk up my content so folks can skim/scan my posts easier. 🙂

This evening I just started having an issue with tagging. When I use the @, if I try to type a name that isn't in the first 5 suggested, the cursor moves before the @ sign and when moved back, it doesn't tag the person. I'm currently on mobile (Android using Chrome) and will try on my laptop later. I can't tag TeamBIC so if someone else can, it would be appreciated!

Please let me know if you're still experiencing trouble tagging Community members on Android @ShortErica~ Our vendor partners are still working on a solve!

@TeamBIC I tested it again this morning and I am still having the issue on my phone but tagging works fine on my laptop.

@TeamBIC please see @ShortErica message about having problems tagging people on Android. I use an iPhone and don’t have issues.
