Beautiful clothes

I know when I put on something beautiful that also looks good on me it makes me smile and I feel beautiful and sexy. This dress is one I wish I had bought but didn’t. It was at Dress Barn and no it is not anything fancy but it was elegant and fit me well. I wish I could have bought it and gone to Sephora and gotten my make up done (and bought lots of the good stuff for my face) and gone out. Anyone else ever feel that way?

Absolutely agree, fashionable clothes make me feel more confident. That's why I want to buy new clothes all the time. I hope I am not a shopaholic, lol. By the way, share your favorite stores, I would be very appreciative. I heard many good modlily reviews , has anyone bought there something already?

Laci, yes have felt that way! I sometimes talk myself out of something being too critical if my looks...I buy a lot from Maurices, especially on line. Do go in stores and one near me is very accomodating for me and sales woman is tg friendly...get a few things on.line from them too...true to size too! Hope that helps some!

Yes! Every time I dress up it’s like a weight of my shoulders and I can be me. Beautiful dress!

I feel the same way.  So much more free and joyful.  And makeup is an important part of that.

h/t to the typo when I wrote the first clause:  “alone” came out “alive”.  Both are true.  I wish I could come out as well as that typo!

@Anonymous I can't really say that I've ever felt quite that way about an outfit because I'm not comfortable trying to look 'sexy' or even 'beautiful'. I've always been pretty gender fluid, and prefer clothing that is comfortable above anything else. However, when I do find an outfit that just feels very me, I tend to buy the same thing in multiple colours and am sad when it gets too worn out to wear any more. Feeling that you look good (whatever that means to each individual) can definitely help boost your confidence.

@Anonymous how am I just seeing this post?! I know that feeling so well - sometimes I won't buy clothes unless I leave them at the store and miss them enough to go back and get them! Otherwise I would have a much bigger spending problem than I do already 😄
