what are the best products for acne scars?

i’ve tried many things but i can’t seem to find something that will help my acne scars fade.

Re: what are the best products for acne scars?

The Dennis Gross Alpha Beta peels. Those things work WONDERS on scars and pigmentation!

Re: what are the best products for acne scars?

Same, girl, same! 😞 Currently I have Vitamin C and Retinaldehyde in my routine which helps a lot with hyperpigmentation.

I’m currently using Cosrx but I have used Kiehl's Since 1851 Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Correcting Serum and it’s good. I also spot treat my acne marks with Topicals Mini Faded Serum for Dark Spots & Discoloration 0.5 / 15 – takes a while to see results but I’ve seen an improvement so I keep using it.

For retinal (which is stronger and works faster than retinol), you may want to try

Youth To The People Retinal + Niacinamide Youth Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL

The Ordinary Retinal 0.2% Emulsion Serum 0.5 oz / 15 ml (super potent!! So be careful)

You may also try exfoliating 2-3 times a week to remove dead skin cells, lighten marks, and even out skin tone. I use Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel Pads which is soooo expensive but Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant 1 oz / 30 ml or The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner 8 oz/ 240 mL are also worth checking out 🙂

My best advice is to look for products with kojic acid, tranexamic acid, azelaic acid, alpha arbutin, niacinamide, aha & bha, vit c, and retinal 🙂

More recos below:

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Oil Control Serum  (can be irritating so be careful)

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA Hyperpigmentation Serum

The Ordinary Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% 1 oz/ 30 mL

Hope this helps! 🙂
