products for keratosis pilaris

i have keratosis pilaris (i think that's how u spell it), also known as chicken skin, and i am trying to figure out how to get rid of it. my dermatologist has not recommended me a product, but she has said that i should not use anything exfoliating, and that it is caused by dry skin.(which is my skin type). so i guess something rllllly hydrating might do the trick. idk tho

RE: products for keratosis pilaris

I've tried scrubbing daily. And it sorta irritates my skin since it's sensitive. Felt like rounded blades being brushed on my skin. Hence I've tried oily based scrubs as well for a smoother scrub. That just made my skin extremely oily. Any suggestions ?

Interesting. I have a slight case by my shoulders and I use a sugar body scrub daily in the shower and it def helps smooth my skin out. I know it sounds like it would irritate it but the coconut oil hydrates and smooths the skin.

Re: products for keratosis pilaris

AmLactin, Dermadoctor KP Duty Lotion, & CeraVe Renewing SA Lotion are pretty good.
