Whatโ€™s good for dark under eye circles?

I have dark under eye circles. Whatโ€™s something I can do to make them less visible? Any products?

Re: Whatโ€™s good for dark under eye circles?

It really depends on if they are an issue of being tired or ill or just plain worn down or if they are a hereditary issue. I had and still have somewhat dark circles around the entire eye area. Right from the brow to my cheek bones. I tried ALOT of very expensive creams and serums to get rid of them and nothing was helping to at least a little bit of my satisfaction. Then someone I know recommended I try NIOD Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate. This product has been a total game changer!! I've been using it for just under 3 months now and the difference is stunning!! To give you an idea how bad my eyes looked, I was once approached in the grocery store, by a complete stranger, who then started to talk to me about how I didn't need to live in an abusive relationship and she handed me a card for a woman's shelter, even though I insisted my spouse had never, ever laid a hand on me!! People would stare at me, all the time, when I went out in public and I started to wear sunglasses, even at night. That is how dark they once were. I've been using this product for about 3 months and I no longer get those stares from people. I can now go out in public with my husband without him getting dirty looks from strangers. It really is a great product and I am excited to see how my eyes look in another 3-6 months. Unfortunately, Sephora does not carry it. It is made by DECIEM, the same people who make The Ordinary products. It is a serum and a little, itty bit is all you need, twice a day. It is expensive, I think around $50-60-70 Canadian dollars for a 15 ml. bottle. That 15ml bottle is about half empty in about 3 months of use, so in the grand scheme of eye creams and serums/treatments, it's actually a pretty good price. I was super skeptical at first, but so glad now that I bought it. They actually have a sale on until the end of November for 23% off all of their brands and products. I use almost all of The Ordinary skin care serums and bought all of the NIOD branded products I wanted to start using this month because of the savings. Once I have used up all of my TO products, I will move on to the NIOD branded ones. They are supposed to be the top ones that DECIEM makes. If this eye serum is any example, the other NIOD products should be phenomenal. I think the absolute best advice I have ever gotten when it comes to skin care, is to skip the creams/lotions and go for the serums. Cream products tend to have a lot of fillers, scent and not so great for your skin ingredients and only a little of the active ingredients that your skin needs to make that difference. Good luck, I hope I have helped in some way.

@Jyliani There are a couple of things that you might try.  First of all, are you using any kind of eye cream?  Sephora has a good selection of different eye creams that may help to counteract darkness and some of them like the OLEHENRIKSEN - Banana Bright Eye Crรจme and the ORIGINS - GinZingโ„ข Refreshing Eye Cream to Brighten and Depuffare even infused with light-diffusing pigment to help brighten the undereyes as well.  You could also try an undereye corrector like the BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector or the  Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector Deep .  Top it with your favorite concealer and finish it with something like the BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder.
