Vitamin C serum to add color to my skin?

I started using The INKEY List 15% Vitamin C and EGF Brightening Serum 1 oz/ 30 mL and my skin looked amazing.   It had way more color than usual.   Well, it seemed to stop working and I was near the end of the bottle.   So, I replaced it and did notice that it seemed to have oxidized.  My new bottle seems good but I'm not really getting any more color to my skin. 

 

Does anyone know of a Vitamin C product that would give me that richer, sun-kissed skin tone?

 

I prefer gel or liquid-y serums, but I'll take whatever works!
