Under Eye Care

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could give me some recommendations for products to use on my under eyes? I am starting law school soon and know that most likely means late nights and not a lot of sleep. If anyone could give me some product recommendations that help combat signs of sleep deprived eyes and dark circles I would greatly appreciate it.

RE: Under Eye Care

Belif eye mask and kiehls avocado eye treatment! I use both every day - belif first then kiehls

Re: Under Eye Care

@goodandeva I rec FAB Retinol Serum; many people also like Dr. Dennis Gross Triple Correction.  Good luck!

@greeneyedgirl107 Thank you!!! 😄

Re: Under Eye Care

Hi @goodandeva - congratulations on getting into law school! That's a really great achievement!

Like @katkapivarci suggested, a good hydrating under eye sheet mask should help keep the area hydrated and plump, making any concealer you might need easier to apply (shouldn't settle into lines/cake as much). I don't have a favorite as I've enjoyed all the ones I've tried so far. To combat extra puffiness, you can try storing the eye patches in the fridge for a little while first for extra cooling.

I also really like Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream like @Meliibeee04 . However, I use this as my day eye cream. It illuminates and hydrates, and my makeup applies beautifully over it. Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye CreamOrigins GinZing Refreshing Eye CreamFor night, I switch my eye cream to Lancer Eye Contour Lifting Cream. It's pricey, but it's one of the only things that has made a noticeable difference to my under eye area. It's a little heavy and rich for day, but perfect for night. My eyes are hydrated, brighter and plump. Lancer Eye Contour Lifting CreamLancer Eye Contour Lifting CreamOf course, things like drinking lots of water, getting proper sleep, and not staring at computer screens for hours on end are always helpful, but likely to be rare in law school, so be sure to enjoy those things when you get the chance! Good luck (with finding a good eye cream and school)!! 🙂

Re: Under Eye Care

@terpsichore Thank you! Also, thank you for your recommendations I appreciate it. I have always been a fan of Origins products especially their GinZing line, but I have never tried the eye cream before. Since both you and @Meliibeee04 seem to like it, I think I will swing by Sephora later today and grab a jar.

Thank you again! 😄

RE: Under Eye Care

Hey! Try the origins ginzing eye cream! It has caffeine which will help with dark circles and works great under concealer as well. 👌🏻

RE: Under Eye Care

Hi~ I heard eye creams with caffeine ingredient in it helps with under eye bags due to puffiness and water retention, don't know if there's anything that will help with dark circles except a good concealer. I love Make Up For Ever HD Concealer for under eyes! The product has high coverage, won't crease and settle into fine lines, lies flat on the skin when you press the product in with your finger so it won't look cakie, and it's not drying either. Another recommendation is Tarte Shape Tape, I've heard so many people rave about it but I never tried it myself as it's not available in Canada and is Ulta exclusive. Apparently it's a miracle worker.

Re: RE: Under Eye Care

@Skylas Thank you for the concealer recommendations! I am running low on my one from the drug store that I can no longer find. I will look into both of those. 🙂

Re: Under Eye Care

@goodandeva Congrats on the law school!!  I really enjoy Sephora Eye Masks - it really helped to depuff my undereye area. I don't have any eye cream torecommend at this moment - I'm currently trying a sample of Chanel Hydra Eye Cream but it's more for hydratation then dark circles. Good luck with your studies!

Re: Under Eye Care

@katkapivarci Thank you!!! Are there any Sephora eye masks that are your favorite or are they all equally great? I will definitely check them out. 🙂

Re: Under Eye Care

@goodandeva  so far I tried Sephora collection eye mask in Pearl and Lotus - I enjoyed both of them equally. Here's the link:
