The Ordinary Skin Care Regimine

I recently purchased some products from The Ordinary. I am 49 and neeeed some good skin care as I am showing huge signs of facial aging. I need some help on when to use these products and at which times (morning, night or both?) I purchased The Ordinary Buffet, The Ordinary NMF+H.A. moisturizer , THE ORDINARY - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution and also THE ORDINARY - Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F, also known as vitamin C(?). I have another Hyloronic Acid from another brand that I would like to use up before switching to The Ordinary H.A. that I should add in as well as sunscreen.

ANYONE that could advise me on which products I should use in the morning and in which order would really help me. I also use retinol at night, along with a good  night cream and am thinking about buying DR. DENNIS GROSS SKINCARE - Alpha Beta® Extra Strength Daily Peel, but would only use that 2-3 times a week at night. Should I use the Toner, THE ORDINARY - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution only at night?

Please, skin care enthusists, please enlighten me. I need all the help I can get at this point.  Thanks so much!!

Use the Glycolic Acid Toner daily, at night. Then follow it with the vitamin c treatment (which is best used at night because sun exposure breaks it down and weakens it). For the facial peel, or any other exfoliating product (whether it's a peel, scrub, or serum), alternate these with the glycolic toner. basically, only use one exfoliating product per night. the peel should only be 1-2 times a week (depending on strength), and the other days, use the glycolic toner or alternate the toner with your other exfoliating product. (it is good to alternate and use different acids and types). always use the exfoliating acid(glycolic acid toner in this case) before the vitamin c product. retinol products are also for the night regimen, but not to be used on the same night as vitamin C or any exfoliating treatments, so alternate exfoliant/vitamin C Combo and retinol. it is toomuch for the skin, regardless of skin type, to use all three, or retinol with either of the others The BUFFET peptide serum can be used morning and night, and can mix with any of the others just fine I think. For product order: MORNING 1. cleanse 2. any kind of hydrating toner 3. eye cream or serum 4. lighter, gel, and water-based treatments (like the BUffet serum) 5. thicker, oil based treatments and/or face oil 6.moisturizer 7. SPF unblock... NIGHT 1. cleanse 2. exfoliating toner (like the glycolic acid toner) 3. hydrating toner 4. eye cream or serum 5. lighter, gel, and water-based treatments (like your Ascorbyl vitamin serum, unless it is in an oil or cream base, then you'd use it after any of your other lighter serums). (WATER BEFORE OIL, THIN BEFORE THICK) 5. thicker, oil based treatments and/or face oil 6. moisturizer (heavier one for night and/or a face oil, whatever works for you).

@kel70 Have you visited The Ordinary's website?  It has some guides for order of their products.  Good luck!

Re: The Ordinary Skin Care Regimine

I would use the vitamin C in the morning.  You would apply this after cleaning and to a dry face.  The glycol acid toner at night maybe ever other night and rotate it the retinol.  That's how I use it.

vitamin c is broken down by exposure to sunlight, even with spf. evening is best for vitamin c If you want most effective.
