Stupid question

Ladies and gents! I have a very dumb question here: when washing your face with a daily cleanser in the evening, how do you prevent the same cleanser from getting into your nostrils? I usually wash my face in the shower and whatever cleanser I use, the foam usually gets into my nostrils and irritates them AF. How can you avoid this scenario?

It sounds like your cleanser lathers a lot, right? When I wash my face everyday, I notice that my cleanser doesn’t lather like crazy so that could be one reason why I never get this issue. I also put the cleanser on my nose but never underneath the nose area (think like a face mask) to avoid these particular situations.
