Skinfix products review (with "story time")

Note: this is a long one

Note: Currently editing.

So, ive been trying 2 products by Skinfix so far, and this is my initial review.

The first product i want to talk about is the Skinfix Redness Recovery+ Antioxidant Redness Treatment Overnight Mask.

I mainly bought this product to help with redness, but also for its *repair* properties.

I need to say that i havent been officially diagnosed with rosecea, but that its a possibility.

Im planning on seeing a skin specialist (not sure if they are dermatologist) some time soon.

My situation is that my skin is more pink/red on my entire face compared to my neck.

I do not have specific areas where im more red, its mostly even all over my face. Its not "red-red" or dark red, its alot more pink/red.

Sometimes it does get more red and can feel hot, but its random, like it didnt happen in quite a while now.

Ive been covering this with foundation and powder foundation since many years(lets say a good 15 years.....), and its very... very tiring, because i want to cover it/hide it because i HATE pinkness. Im tired to have to cover just to hide it...

So far its been 3 days since i tried this product, and im still not sure if its making a big enough difference for the pinkness, but i will say this: it feels good on my skin.

It has no strong scent, and it has an intetesting texture, its like between a cream and a gel.

It takes some time to absorb (around 5+ min), but it does.

Im still not used to the texture, because im used to products that gets absorbed faster. But because it feels good on the skin, i like it.

I feel no tingling, no itching, nothing at all but "freshness" i guess.

The second product im trying is theyre Gel.

When i discovered this company i wanted to try theyre Cream, but then i heard that its heavy enough, and because i have combo skin, i wasnt sure about it.

Later i found that they came out with a Gel , which is normally less heavy, so i was going to try that, but because the Mask specifically said its supposed to help with redness, i ordered that, And luckily i was able to get a deluxe sample of the Gel.

So, this Gel, first, i noticed a strange smell, im not sure which ingredient gives it that smell, but its not strong enough to bother.

Second and importantly, after applying, it tingles, and that for a good 3-4 min.

Once the tingling stop its fine, but a few hours later, as my skin got oilier, the tingling came back.

I read somewhere that tingling and itching might be because the Ph of products dont agree with the skin, or it could also be a reaction/intolerance/allergy.

As im typing this, my skin is feeling a bit itchy and i will now wash my face.

This is my first day that i tried the Gel.

I will look into it to see which ingredients from this Gel could make my skin react, but i will no longuer use it and will only continue with the mask.

I will maybe try theyre original Barrier cream at a later time.

EDIT: As i washed my face with a damp cloth (warm and cold water), my face felt very Very sensitive and got more red.

I will not be using this product.

Edit: 15 minutes later my face is still sensitive/tingly.

Edit: 40 min and my face is still sensitive.
