@peculiarzmakeup, glad to hear the Tatcha mask is working out for you. I didn't think too much of it the first time I tried it either. Curious to know if you experienced any warming while wearing the mask.

I was influenced by TikTok and picked up some of the Sungboon Editor's Collagen face masks from Amazon. I think Dr. Jart has some similar ones. Dr. Jart+ Cryo Rubber™ Brightening Face Mask 0.14 oz / 4 g but I can't remember. You're supposed to leave it on for 30-45 minutes until the mask turns clear or even overnight. I've done both and I don't think overnight is necessary. It doesn't slide around too much. My skin felt smooth and plump after. Idk if I would run out to get it but it's a nice self-care moment.

@makeitup305, that's interesting that it can be worn overnight. I can't imagine it would stay on my face through the night but that would have more to do with me and less so the adhesiveness of the mask. 🤣

@itsfi I think I was conscious of it throughout the night and didn't sleep as deeply as I could have. I don't think it's necessary. I don't think it affords more benefits than wearing it over the 45 min they recommend or even a couple of hours if you feel like it.

Self care Era here we are ..facial masks there are so many for different types of skin and needs.. I love  Caudalie Pore Minimizing Instant Detox Mask 2.5 oz/ 75 mL  I am 43 years young and I haven't had a problem  with this mask it's so velvety and does its job ... it's a Clean at Sephora product I encourage some of you to try this or if you have tried it what are your reviews and opinions on this product.

"Self care Era" - love, love, loooove this, @CocoLancome28‌‌ ❣️ Caudalie has some wonderful skincare products and this detox mask has been one that has withstood the test of time - a gentle and effective mask - luxe too! How often do you use it?

@itsfi to answer your question about the  Caudalie Mini Pore Minimizing Instant Detox Mask 1.18 oz / 35 mL  

It says I think twice a day being morning and Night but not entirely sure. When I used it ..that product was creamy and does the job of what it's made to do as a detoxing skin mask ..it makes your skin feel amazing after use ..

@peculiarzmakeup  it's a great intro to the Caudalie family of skin care .. my skin felt so good after the usage of the  Detox Mask  I love the fact the product is made with grapes 🍇 grape water 💧 rich with the benefits found in grapes 🍇.. it's like a fine wine for your skin that makes you feel fabulous  .. it's worth every penny   ..it worked for me but may not work for others ..it's my opinion ..hope you try it and please tell me what you think of it ..I love it.

May 2024 Masks

Wash Off / Sleeping Mask: 

Do not underestimate the lightweight consistency of the Chantecaille Bio Lifting Mask + - it hydrates beautifully overnight without feeling heavy or greasy, leaving skin feeling soft, smooth, supple & nourished, and looking healthy and illuminated the next morning, not like a disco ball, but as in brighter, well rested, and more awake. 😍

Hair Care:

My once-per-week special hair care routine for the month of May consisted of:

• Pre-wash hair oil - Fable & Mane HoliRoots™ Pre-Wash Treatment Oil for Thinning Hair 
• Rinse out pre-wash hair oil with OUAI Detox Shampoo and BREAD BEAUTY SUPPLY Scalp-Thingy: Scalp Massager followed by: 
• Oribe Signature Shampoo, followed by
• Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair!™ Deep Conditioning Hair Mask - this was one of the first, if not the first, fancy hair masks I've used and I keep coming back to it, though this tub that I'm currently making my way through was part of a holiday gratis package. She's rich, but still easy to get on with, beautifully softening, detangling and moisturizing my strands just with the application alone. I leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing it out of my hair - soft, silky, shiny strands.

Toner Pads as Sheet Mask:

• Just as clay masks can be used as spot treatments for drawing out or flattening pesky pimples, toner pads like the Mediheal Collagen Ampoule Pad can be used as spot treatments for infusing hydration and ​​​a little bounce onto the parts of the face prone to looking dull, gaunt or saggy, and/or feeling dry or dehydrated.  Too early to tell if the firming claims have any teeth, but my skin has been looking and feeling more nourished and supple. 

Not a ton of masking this month, but having a set of consistent weekly areas to focus on and products to use worked out very well. The Fable & Mane pre-wash hair oil isn't my favorite but everything else has been a nice treat and will be incorporated into future masking sessions.
