Skin Care and Make Up Advice?

so my boyfriends sister is 12 years old and i have tried telling her the importance of washing her face and she wants to wear make up but DOESN'T WASH HER FACE! what is some of your best advice that you have received and how can i get it through her head that she needs to follow these basic rules of skin care and make up. he skin is so bad. its really really bad. and shes in middle school now and i know shes getting made fun of and i just want to help.
their mom has kind of given up on her... says "shes too old to deal with this sh*t"

@Anonymous I have two suggestions. Either find something super easy or find something super cute haha

Sometimes when we are young we just get caught up in other stuff and maybe she just forgets or does not want to take the time to wash her face or is embarrassed to for some unknown reason. I recommend getting a good face wash for in the shower that way at least you know she is getting a deep clean in there and then buying her some face wipes or a micellar water. Not as good as actually washing her face but deff better than nothing. 

OR second, like the other poster suggested get her into skin care by getting her a cute set! there are lots of awesome holiday sets coming out. Also sephora has pretty cheap and awesome sheet masks! You have to wash your face to use them so that could be something fun for her!!

also make sure she is washing her make up supplies. It seems so obvious as an adult but no one told me to wash my make up brushes when I was younger

maybe you should get her into skincare, show her how flawless her face can look.  watch youtube vids together, walk her through your daily routine of taking care of your skin.  remind her to wash her face at night, and hopefully she'll start to do it on her own.. hope that helps. everyone needs to know the importance of a good skin care routine
