Serum and Cover FX Custom Cover Drops

Hi! I use Cover FX cream foundation that matches my skin tone very well. I use the illuminating primer and sometimes the finishing spray with it. Trouble is, my forehead is SO flaky and dry. Even with use of moisturizer, the cream foundation turns out looking cakey.

I went in to my local Sephora and there was a Cover FX specialist who recommended using Boscia Sake Hydrating Serum (I believe.. comes in a blue jar) prior to the primer. She said it would also help with my redness. I've heard wonderful reviews.

When I was browsing the site I noticed that there are Co FX custom cover drops.. this intrigued me.  I would love to lighter on the foundation-caked on look and was looking at trying these drops. Seems like it would serve as a tinted moisturizer idea.  Would these be suitable to mix in with the Boscia Sake serum, or do I need something more substantial like a moisturizer? If I do, do I use it with the serum as well all together?

Thanks in advance!

@sillyjilly321 The Custom Enhancer Drops are amazing! I don’t think a Serum would be substantial enough to mix it with, though. I would mix it in with an actual moisturizer. Since your skin is dry, added hydration wouldn’t hurt.

Any good recommendations for the moisturizer?

@sillyjilly321 Yes! The Sephora Brand Instant Moisturizer+Cream is $23USD and works really well. It contains Hyaluronic Acid and is so smooth on the skin. The CoverFX drops would mix with it beautifully.
