Self Tanning

I have very fair skin and I want to use self tanner but I can’t find one that doesn’t turn me orange, I have the Isle of Paradise light tanning mist and I did a patch test over night and it was so orange when I woke up. I don’t know what else to try/do or if I’m just using the one I have wrong.

@Savyy95  I’m very fair as well and any subtle orange tones really show up on me.  The only self tanners I’ve had success with are the Jergens natural glow - in fair to medium  self tanner and the Josie Maran Argan Liquid Gold Tanning Oil.  Josie Maran Argan Liquid Gold Self-Tanning Oil Vanilla Apricot 

The Jergens actually works better but leaves an obvious ‘tanning’ scent.  It doesn’t bother me personally but I know it’s an issue for some people.  🤷‍♀️
