SUNDAY RILEY Auto Correct eyecream

Just got Sunday Riley's Auto Correct Eye Cream in yesterday.  I used it last night for the first time and noticed it had a "soured" smell after I put it on my eyes.  Anyone else experience this?  Is it normal?  It smell exactly like a dirty dishrag.

I just ordered mine so hopefully it's fine. If you are new to Sunday Riley then most of her products will probably smell funky to you (she tries to go natural and not add perfumes or additives that often mask most products we use). I think good genes stinks but over time I've gotten used to it and stopped caring due to the results I've seen. Another thing about Sunday Riley is when you purchase her items, they literally were being made a month ago from natural sources..meaning she always wants to ensure you are getting a fresh bottle. You have 60 days to return so I suggest waiting to see if you get any results. Also with a lot of my eye products, I like to put them in the fridge.

Mine smells rancid too, it literally smells spoiled. I don’t know if this is normal.

Mine smells the same but I wouldnt describe it the way you did, more just earthy.

i didn't even notice the smell, honestly - but i'm guessing that's because i have most of her other products and am used to the more "natural" scents that come along with them. i find them more pleasant than artificial fragrance.

like @JoyV, i'm wondering how you both like the product? the jury is still out for me as i've only used it for one full day so far. would love to hear your thoughts!

I just received mine. It has the same smell. I’m sure it’s a min of all the ingredients she used. She doesn’t use perfume to make it smell better. All her products have scents that you have to get used to. I don’t mind them at all. I’d rather have the real thing than perfume.

i'm waiting for mine-- should arrive tomorrow.  BUT i have to say i thought Luna smelled like black licorice when i first tried it.. now it doesnt bother me as much.     I kind of like he way that Good Genes smells... like sweettarts! 

what is your take on how it works?
