Retinol newbie

I am interested in trying a retinol for the first time but I'm scared. I'm 32 and don't have any major wrinkles yet, thinking more preventative. I also have acne prone skin, especially on my forehead. Any suggestions for a good starter retinol?

I'm in the same boat! Just got a sample 2 days ago of FAB skin lab retinol serum. It's supposed to be the lowest concentration (.25%). I used it once so far, will use it 3 x this week and if all goes well I will purchase it. It has great reviews, I did my research!
