Questions about skin!!!!

What is a good sun block for arms & shoulders? I get burned easily.

Or is there anything better?

Also what is good for an uneven skin color tone from head to toe?

What about dark spot on face?

I have bumps, I quess tiny pimples on my shoulders, upper arms and upper back. What's a good product to use?

Re: Questions about skin!!!!

Sunblock? Supergoop brand. Even better, clothing with a UPF rating of 50+ including sun hats. Dark spots and uneven skin tone? (on my face) I use a retinol pad 3x/week from my dermatologist. Philosophy's Miracle Worker pads did nothing. If you use a retinol you MUST use sunscreen. I also use an enzyme peel once a week. Bumps/pimples on chest/arms/back? I use a body wash with salicylic acid in it and then apply a prescription lotion with erythromyacin in it to keep all those areas clear. I also use retinol pads on my chest and neck too before I apply the lotion and it seems to help with the bumps on my chest better than the lotion alone. Retinol basically removes all the dead layers of skin so that the lotions, serums, lotions, whatever you put on top actually penetrates instead of just sitting on top of old dead skin. Hope this helps!

Drugstore brand- Coppertone Sport SPF 50- This one goes on very smoothly and doesn't cause acne, is water- and -sweat resistant.

Drugstore Chemical Free- Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby SPF 50- if you like a less chemical alternative. This one goes on a bit heavier and I am not as fond of it in really hot weather as it seems to make me feel hotter (obviously, I'm not hotter, but it feels this way).

Higher- End brand- La-Roche Posay Anthelios 60 Melt-In Sunscreen Milk- This one is my favorite, but it is a bit pricey. Nice light feel, doesn't leave a sticky or greasy feel to skin, just the best IMO.

For dark spots on the face, Clinique Even Better Dark Spot Corrector- this does lighten spots but it takes awhile, it took about a month before I noticed a difference.

Body bumps-  Try using a good body exfoliator. Drugstore-St. Ives Apricot Scrub. Inexpensive and gets the job done. For acne prone areas, Murad Acne Body wash has exfoliator beads along with acne treatment.

Higher end body scrub- Dermadoctor KP Duty Body Scrub- this one is less abrasive than the St. Ives and treats the bumps as well as removing dead skin.

Hope this helps!
