Post surgical skin care

Hi all. I'm looking for a little advice. I recently had surgery and when I was in recovery, I realized that there was a sort of burn mark on my face near my left eye. When surgery takes place, the anesthesiologist usually tapes your eyes shut. I believe she removed the tape from my face way more aggressively than needed. This left a sort of "C" shaped burn. In the hospital they applied some neosporin but I've also been applying a little advanced night repair serum to the area as well. Does anyone have suggestions for any other products that can be used to help with healing and scarring?

RE: Post surgical skin care

I had really severe sun burns on my face and the Tatcha water gel moisturizer was so amazingly helpful in healing my skin, I highly recommend !

Thank you. I will find out some info on that 🙂

Vitamin C based serums work best for brightening the skin...

Vitamin C based serums work best for brightening the skin and fading dark marks. Raw Shea Butter also helps because it's packed with Vitamin E, which does help to fade scars and boost the cell turn over rate in skin.
