Ordinary Rose Hip oil

I have used rosehip oil from other brand before and it never really had a particular smell. But the Ordinary Rose Hip Oil smells like the fish oil capsules that eat. Does it suppose to have such a strong smell? Or was the one that I got bad?  It was like that since I opened it.

I don't think it sounds like it's rancid. I've used it before, and it does have a bit of a funky scent to it.
